I don't get it....
This stuff never ceases to amaze me. Was it really foggy to where people couldn't see too far up ahead? Wouldn't be surprised if there were multiple fatalitiesshel311 wrote: ↑Thu Feb 11, 2021 8:10 pm Overhead footage of a 100+ car pileup in Fort Worth this morning.

Yep!
my experience in NC is that not only is it the southern drivers that are not use to driving in snow conditions, its the northern transplants that think its the same as driving on snow. The further south you go, the less it is snow and more it turns to ice when it hits concrete / asphalt. Snow at least provides some level of traction, physics takes over on ice (whatever direction and speed you are going when you hit it, you keep going in that direction at that speed) I prefer snow over ice 100% of the time.GeorgesGoons wrote: ↑Thu Feb 11, 2021 11:13 pmYep!
And texas drivers are absolutely horrible in any kind of slick roads. We drove from San Antonio to Omaha one time when they were getting snow from waco on up. Never saw so many vehicles in the ditch
Same line we use and stress around here. Depending on the loadout on the vehicle, that nice 4wd machine may weigh 600+ lbs more than a 2wd.GeorgesGoons wrote: ↑Fri Feb 12, 2021 3:01 pm I always give my son a "safety brief" when he is heading to work or school.
