Then you run to this board to brag about it to a bunch of 40+ year old dudes?
No need to tone down the story or justify it... you could have picked any point to walk away.

Exactly. I used to explain this to my kids all the time - luckily they managed to understand something Nick clearly can't, but two wrongs don't make a right.

At no point were you forced to trump his action with your reaction (nor was he, same rules apply to him here).
You also CHOSE to come here like some sort of internet-badass, which in and of itself is strange but that's a divergent topic

I got past the initial of having it in my cart, got to where I hit continue to verify my shipping address, the app and website screwed up, by the time they responded, it was sold out!
I was so pissed.
It should put a reserve on it for a minute at least while you have it in your cart.

Isn’t it the multiplication first because it’s tied to the parenthesis? Thought u worked from the parenthesis out?

ppl see the bracket and assume that the multiplication between them comes before the division when it doesnt.
6 / 2(1+2)
= 6 / 2 * 3
= 3 * 3
= 9
