Before I answer. Am I allowed to eat pizza yet? Cause I was told
4 years ago about some pedophile pizza or something
Also, if I get covid, I gotta take hydroxychloroquine right? I heard someone’s family member was on deaths door but they took that magical placebo, er I mean potion, that saved them.
Just need clarification on those before I continue.
You can eat whatever you'd like. As for pizzagate, it was entertaining, so I linked it, just as I've done with other wild ass stuff that gets thrown around. Big difference between linking/talking about it and stating it as fact. As for my cousin's husband, does someone being in a coma for over a week humor you in some way? What is it that you need clarification on and why would any of that matter in regard to using an 18yr old making $10k-$40k per year as a stardard for why an athlete making 10x more would cheat?

Anyways you guys are retards if you think people haven’t fixed sports. I didn’t say every game but it happens and I’d argue it happens once a year per sport.
But don’t worry those people who make 450K+ (who are broke 5 years after retirement) would never develop gambling addictions that a little help could get them out of. Neverrr
In May 2011, world governing body FIFA announced an anti-match fixing plan,[5] and in September 2012 FIFA President Sepp Blatter warned that match-fixing endangered "the integrity of the game."[6] In September 2014 the Council of Europe also announced they would tackle the problem.[7]
Don’t worry guys 450k athletes would never do it so what “problem”????????
No one said people haven't fixed sports.
No one said they wouldn't develop a gambling addiction.
No one said a $450k athlete would never do it.
I'm not sure why this is so difficult for you.

I'll let your last few posts on this thread stand as evidence for people to judge.

Nick, if you were offered $100,000 to let someone in the building where you work, to steal information from the school, would you let them?
Now, would you do it for $100?
That is the difference they are talking about.
An athlete making $450k a year is less likely to do it then someone making $45k per year.
As Reign stated to you, no one said people haven't fixed sports before and no one said that an athlete making $450k never did it before.
They are simply saying it is less likely when you are in the scenario of making $450k but only gaining $10k to shave some points, compared to a guy making $45k per year and making $10k to shave some points.
The risk/reward is much different for those 2 athletes.

New house problems. Water pressure sucks here. I went down to the main water line and tightened the bolt on the conicle valve and that didn't work either. Gonna hire a plumber to see if they can do anything before going out and paying for a water pressure booster to see if that will work

The water pressure at our rental is awful too, it's infuriating. I cleaned out the aerators not much improvement. Their water heater is also on the fritz, I haven't taken a HOT shower here in over a year. Moving in 2 weeks!

No hot showers would piss me off! Had to do it in iraq when it was in the 20's and 30's before they fixed the problem. I was an ANGRY MOFO for a couple of weeks due to that.
I'm gonna call someone to look at it. They sell something to help with water pressure but it's a grand for the part alone

George, did you call your water department and see what the pressure coming in should be?
Then look at your valve and what pressure does it show?
Each house should have a valve and regulator as soon as the water comes into the house.
Maybe the regulator went bad.
I would look at those things prior to assuming you need a booster.

I'm calling the water company to see what's up before doing anything. I do have a couple of plumber buddies so may buy them a case of beer and have them check it out

A case of beer would pay 30 mins of their work.

You don't have good friends then! A case of beer would pay for them to diagnose the problem and I'd still get everything done for under $100, which is less than a typical service call here.

1 thing I love about not living in a big city... pretty much anything that comes up, I "know a guy." If I don't, then I'm 1 call away from someone that does.

Same here. I will work on your computer, you fix my drywall, etc.
I will detail your car, you fix my Furnace.
I will fix your plumbing, you fix my electrical, etc.

I hope you guys go to your local friends businesses like restaurants and barter free meals for you know... whatever it is you folks specialize in.
All I know is if I make 45/hour as a union plumber, I’m not spending my time off checking your plumbing for a pack of beer.

Really? If you're at a buddy's house and he has a dripping faucet and asks you to check it out, you wouldn't?
If a friend of mine asks for my opinion on something medical, should I bill him?
I think you're overthinking this.
