I skydived before and was totally fine the entire prep time and all that until I stepped out on the ledge to jump and looked down. I almost backed out and then I was "pushed" if you will.

This was my experience too. The 'guide' had to peel my hand off the plane ledge

I pretty much jumped on 2 when we were supposed to wait till 3. The plane we were in was so small and I hate tight spaces, especially with a big ass hawaiian on my back. After our chute opened he asked why I jumped on 2 and said I couldn't feel my legs anymore.

That initial jump had my stomach full of butterflies. And when the chute opened they drop you another 6 or so inches, that half second free fall scared me more than the jump, just hoping we didn't forget to secure those latches

Some here know my son has wanted to be a pilot since he was around 8 years old. He had a discovery flight last Sunday and got to fly for the first time yesterday. In a month or so he will have to do 3 solo flights, that shit makes me nervous! We will get to sit in the back seat during one of his flights so I plan on getting his takeoff and landing on video and will post here

It's nerve wracking for his mom and me. I asked the instructor when he said he'll do a solo flight around 20 hours into his flight training. I asked, so you just sit there and don't say anything? He was like nope! I'll be on the ground. The wifey said she almost shit her pants when I told her that
