im amazing man. I live in Toronto. We dont normally have cops shooting ppl in the back 7 times so I actually on a real to real level cant even relate. I just feel for Americans who have to deal with racist losers in 2020.

But ya dont get it twisted I aint "melting". I antagonize crackheads daily you think I would be rattled by what the fuck you say?

lol no. i was just writing an essay about how i think people who are racist towards black ppl probably have small dicks.. but then i erased it.

the only time im "rattled" is when I havent smoked a joint or gone like 6-8 hrs without one and thats the equivalent to a cigarette smoker going an entire day without a cig.

I don't think so. The barometric pressure is nowhere close to the same as Katrina (which had historic levels when it made landfall). Couple that with NO being below sea level attributed to the level of destruction it caused. I'm not sure what the sea level is where it is reported to make landfall though. But the barometric pressure isn't close and that shows the strength of the storm

Its minimum pressure at its second landfall was 920 mbar (27 inHg), making Katrina the fourth-strongest hurricane on record to make landfall on the United States, behind Hurricane Michael's 919-millibar (27.138 inHg) reading, Hurricane Camille's 900-millibar (27 inHg) reading in 1969, and the 1935 Labor Day Hurricane's

Laura, on the other hand, has strengthened rapidly from a Category 3, gaining 70% in power in just 24 hours, to a Category 4, maximum sustained winds of 140mph (220km/h).

It is now close to becoming a Category Five storm, which would mean maximum sustained winds of 158mph (254km/h).

Hurricane Katrina - which devastated New Orleans in 2005, killing more than 1,800 people - was a Category Five storm before weakening to a Category Three when made landfall in the US.

well hopefully its not a Cat 5 when done.

Yea it was a shit show! I worked at a shelter in San Antonio that brought in Katrina survivors, the stories they told was heart breaking.

As far as barometric pressure, Laura is sitting at 952

Well... this got weird. I know the general tactic is to avoid the issue that you're taking a big "L" on and change the subject, but this is reaching Joe Biden levels of fuckery.

So I may have gotten over on our new home. The home was up for sale for $169,000, we offered $178,000 with a $500 increase up to $190,000 as long as it appraised at that value. We also offered $7,500 over appraised value (up to our winning bid) and $2,000 in closing. Our bid won at $186,500. So today was the day I was waiting for, the appraisal value. The home appraised at $172,000, so that is what we got the home for plus our cash of $9,500 in closing and appraised value increase.

I am sure another owner would have came up with the additional money to get the home over us as they probably had more cash in hand to purchase it (our sold home the new home owner came in with $170,000 for down payment). I feel like we won here

Yep! We decided to downsize so we can travel more. We went from 2500 square feet to 1800. Sold our old house for $275k and got this one for $172. It's a good feeling living in an area where I don't have to worry about $300k 1500 square foot homes with outrageous taxes

My exact plan as well once the boys are out the house. Downsize and find a town where taxes arent absurdly high.
