Went a couple weeks ago and it was eerie thinking that is how we used to work and just how different 5 months can make.

I am counting down to Wednesday as the kids go back to school...for now.

WASHINGTON — Secret Service agents abruptly ended President Trump’s coronavirus briefing on Monday after shots were fired near the White House.

The president was just minutes into his briefing when an agent whispered in Trump’s ear, causing him to leave the stage with other administration officials.
Reporters in the James S. Brady Press Briefing Room have been placed into lockdown and secret service have surrounded the West Wing.

Moving sucks! We close on our house next Friday, but we are stuck in an extended stay for a month till our new house closes.

A little negotiating tip that our realtor and the selling realtor never seen before. If you have extra cash and love the house offer what you want and add in X amount over appraised value. The sellers weren't even entertaining VA home loans but went with our offer because of it.

When we bought, the sellers made the sale contingent on them closing on a house and being able to move into it within a week of our closing. In a market that favors the seller, that's a good move. We were tired of missing out on stuff and were in a month-to-month rental anyway so it wasn't a big deal to us. Still closed in a "normal" amount of time for around here (45 days).

Working a lot and hadn't heard about it.

Googled it and got the following headlines:
"A 25-year-old man has been charged in the shooting death of 5-year-old Cannon Hinnant" - CNN
"Police: North Carolina man faces murder charge in shooting death of 5-year-old boy" - USA Today
"5-Year-Old Allegedly Killed by Neighbor After Wandering Onto His Yard 'Lit Up the Room,' Says Dad" - People

Went about 4 pages deep and didn't see anything regarding race, political leaning, or religion... just "Man" and "boy." I figured it was safe to assume the child was probably white and the murderer probably not.

As for the event... there's no justification and all. I see the excuse is already "drugs" or "mental capacity." It's situations like this, where I look at someone that doesn't believe in capital punishment and just shake my head.

What's even crazier in this case, the guy was an acquaintance of the family and they had him over for dinner the night previously. And then reading even more into it, national media didn't even pick it up for a couple of days till there was an outcry that nobody was covering it.

It's obviously an extremely heartbreaking murder and what his family is experiencing is unimaginable most definitely.

Why should it have been a national news story on a comparable level to the BLM/ Floyd media coverage as all the social media warriors are saying?

It should have been national news due to the extreme lbrutality of it. Guy walked up and shot a 5 year old point blank in the head in front of his 6 and 8 year old sisters. And where did I say it was comparable to any BLM news coverage.

I can't even believe I am trying to rationalize with an ANTIFA sympathizer (wanna be member)

Okay

Keep playing dumb. You specifically refered to the outcry that made national media pick it up.. well that was what the outcry was about... My fault for assuming you were more then a retarded circus monkey on repeat.

The outcry that the media ignored this is why the media picked it up days later, not the outcry of how brutal this was and normally it would have been national news.

You're right, fuck that 5yr old. /facepalm

Maybe you should rethink your question... Why was the Floyd media coverage on the level that it was?
