Bruce Smith, what in the world...

Steve Harvey has no range, it's the same exact reaction every single time for all these years when people give crazy answers, and I swear it's equally hilarious every single time.

82 Ford Bronco was my first car in high school.

That thing is not a Ford Bronco. Didn't Toyota try this with reinventing the FJ-40? Too weird (says this cranky old guy).

95% of Rubicon owners agree.

2 on my street alone fully admit they are "mall crawlers" and they have the huge tires and all the mods.

I do think they look awesome though and love the idea of no roof/no doors so cant blame them.

The average Joe that drops that kind of money into the aesthetics of a Jeep isn't going to take it off road much. Way to much money tied into the vehicle to mess something up. Not to mention that the work effort that has to be put into cleaning all the mud off of everything, including the undercarriage, is extremely time consuming.

The Bronco won't be much different. Buy away Weasel! :)

It can get extremely costly that is for sure! I dropped probably close to $10-$15k into mine with the lift, new axles, beadlock wheels, tires, seat covers, bumpers, new soft top, CB, Vair pump for inflating tires back up. But I refused to not go off road with it. That is what made it fun as hell to drive. I still had intransit stickers on it the first time I went off road, less than 100 miles on the Jeep and still bone-stock. But moving to Nebraska I knew I'd never use it the way I wanted so I sold it and got my truck instead.

getting ready to sell a house sucks! Last time I was in Iraq so I didn't have to deal with all the extra shit. We got what we wanted out of this house, a great school system for the knucklehead to graduate from. Now we are ready to downsize to half of what we have now to 1000-1500 square feet. We want to do more traveling so this is our way of accomplishing that. The taxes in this area suck ass, $5000 a year, and where we are moving to we are looking at around $2000-$2500 a year. If we move to Iowa half of my retirement is tax free since I am over 50% disabled according to the VA. And a plus of moving there the tags on the vehicles are so much cheaper, I paid $720 for my tags on my 2018 truck. In Iowa I'll be paying under $200. Not sure why we didn't move there in the first place.

Sorry, realized you said $5000 and realized what I pay now.

I'd kill for that again after we moved here.

It's all relative though. Tags in texas are way cheaper than here. Not state taxes, you add in what they take out in our state taxes and home tax we are probably over what you are paying. Between home and income tax for the two of us, we probably paid just under 10k last year
