Food tastes are like music.

Very subjective

Chick Fil A has good chicken sandwiches, not great, but their sauces bring them up a level. Every time I go I end up using at least 4 different sauces.

Also, their chicken minis on their breakfast menu dipped in buffalo sauce is one of the best breakfast items out there. So good.

I think I'd rather have subway. I don't think their sandwich or nuggets are good. But I will say, I think ALL fast food chicken is crap (although Cane's wasn't bad the only time I had a bucket from them and only ate there b/c the wifey wanted to try it).

They are fast, i will give them that.

Subway is barely on the radar. If you're putting Subway in Chic Fil A's league......it's a very telling sign old man George.

Chick-fil-a is always in play for me (except for Sunday, boo).

Either a spicy chicken sandwich (no pickles, add colby) or 12 count nuggets. Skip the fries, they suck. Get the mac and cheese! Diet lemonade or lemonade freeze.

I don't do much fast food anymore unless we are traveling and just want something quick. But when I do get fast food I try and get Jersey Mike's, Little King or Mr. Goodcents (both local sub franchises).

Whataburger
Taco Bell (personal addiction, lets not talk about it)
Any local Texas burger joint

All over Chick-Fil-a which I only go to when my kids or wife want it which is also rare.

As you can see, I am more of a beef/subs/sandwiches kind of fella over chicken any day.

We really dont each much fast food with all the great options here in the DFW area for mom and pops.

Is Chipolte considered fast food?

Taco Bell is okay for a drunk snack. But I prefer Taco Johns here, their green sauce is great!

I consider it fast food for sure.

Sure a step up from some of the others but it goes into that category for me.

jersey mike's is solid....much better than subway or JJs...

Publix subs still take the cake for me though when it comes to subs

Easily would have been #1 for me as well there but no Publix in Texas

I usually avoid sub places due to the bread (useless calories). I try to save my BS calories for pizza.

I don't have a clear cut ranking... usually just comes down to preference at the time between 'types' of food. BBQ, Chicken, meat/cheese bowl, pizza. If I wanted a sub, I'd either hit up Firehouse or Penn Station (regional I believe).

Trying to rank all of the varieties looks something like this:
1.) Mission BBQ
2.) Mike's Nashville Hot (local fast casual spicy chicken)
3.) Blaze Pizza
4.) Chick-fil-a
5.) Rapid Fired PIzza (regional fast casual chain)
6.) Smashburger
7.) Chipotle
8.) Five Guys
9.) Hot Head (regional chain, same owner as Rapid Fired)
10.) City BBQ (regional fast casual chain)

Mission BBQ is my clear #1. Nothing else is even close.

Not a fan of Jimmy Johns either.

My son works at Jimmy Johns. When he works long enough to get a lunch break he goes to a local sandwich shop about 2 miles away and brings the sub back to Jimmy Johns and eats it there in the dinning area.
