Gamboa finished with 50 homers, 107 RBI, and a 7.4 WAR. I'd consider that a solid signing and good piece to build around.

Just hope he doesn't go all Oliveira in year 2.

Pfft, I beat Dillonvale last year in the first round and then took Richmond to seven in the second round. We're good for a few more seasons! :)

It kinda has that feeling doesn't it?

One last parting gift from the Tits reign to say goodbye.

Saw I played in the first round so I automatically assumed I lost the NL Blue. Reading through here realized Toronto was playing in the first round as well.

Yay Cubbies!

We haven't heard from our Scotsman in a few days, please tell me he is still with us. I loved his board lingo

I really appreciate the vote of confidence Ted but I have a feeling you're betting on the wrong horse. We limped into the playoffs this season and really struggled down the stretch.

I know anything can happen in the playoffs, but confidence in my team is at the lowest it's been in a very long time.

Hopefully we can get hot when it counts here. Gonna rely heavily on a couple of former Crabs. ('Soldier' Hernandez and Garza)

I wonder why Nick Byrd's WAR shows as 4.6 in his player profile, but 6.3 WAR shows if you're looking at Boston's team under Batting Stats.

Not sure i've ever seen a discrepancy.

That -11 in the OF had a nice hit on that WAR!

But he is up to a full 30 in right field now. Woohoo!!

His bat made up for those blunders and adventures out there.

Obliterated!!

The Pig is so good he is almost under rated. His stat line this year was magical.
Believe me, if there was any way I could have resigned him, he would have retired a Predator!

Resigned him?

He's signed through 2048 with a player option and then 2051 if he doesn't opt out.
