Tonight Bubba went on CNN to defend the fact that it was a noose
Quote from Wallace
“The image of what's been hanging in my garage is not a garage pull. I've never had garage pulls like that. The evidence that I have... it's a straight-up noose."
2 minute video of a bunch of garage pulls in a bunch of garages.

Clearly used as a secret killing ground during the off-season.
Also, someone might want to tell them that a standard bowline knot doesn't work as well as a runner, aka, slipknot. Who knew the Boyscouts of America were really just klansman being groomed?

Like, I legitimately don't understand how it went from something that simple to resolve in just a few minutes to 15 FBI agents and 3 days of investigating.
Really? Have you not watched the news lately? Everything is getting blown out of proportion right now

Bubba backing off from his comments last night, he was on one of the morning shows today:
“It was definitely in the shape of a noose. It wasn’t a functioning noose,” Wallace said.

I watched the interview on the Today show (NBC). The reporter asked a question regarding the "noose" and the wife said, "that's a very baiting type question." Can't remember the exact wording but the quote you quoted him saying was part of his response.
I believe he is in a no win situation right now. He backs completely off then he will be chastised by the social justice warriors. He goes full force and goes with the noose story he alienates most of NASCAR fans and a lot of regular people. He has to walk the tight rope of both sides right now till the next big news story comes out and he can just go back to doing what he does well, turning left at 180 MPH

Of course it wasn't a functioning noose... because a functioning noose is a slipknot and if you put a slipknot on the end of a rope to pull a heavy door, you'll squeeze the shit out of your hand. It was a standard bowline with an extra couple of wraps, that every boy scout and most kids that grew up on farms, know how to make.

We've lost Bubba Wallace, and I don't think he can be saved at this point:
Wallace said that other photos showing similar garage door pulls could be edited and presented as evidence. “It doesn’t matter if we provide evidence, photos,” he said. “It will always be photoshopped. I will always have haters.”

I hear what you're saying, but I'll take it.
I get why you have that thought, but Bubba is square in my book, I'm sure he cares!

Most recent rumor from the teacher neighbors I have and some we have talked about options:
No more summers, school year round flexible to major spikes
School schedule dramatically changes basically moving summer break to the fall/winter timeframe to limit contamination
Those are the 2 biggest at this point but the teachers said there are over 10 ideas and no true answer yet since spikes are still happening.
Crazy.
Just got word from our ISD that we can choose E-learning for the entire 2020 school year or a hybrid model that will be half days.

I can't imagine how the kids not going to school will work, if the economy is open and parents are going to work

Ah I gotcha, I maybe misunderstood your post, I thought you were a teacher. So you basically get to pick if your kid does at-home or at-school, that makes some sense.
That's part of my worry as someone who always works from home. Both my kids really want to go to school (and almost NEED it from a social/learning stand point). I'm worried that somehow they're going to be forced to work from home since I'm at home to open up spots for kids who don't have that option.

Up here they were prepared to bring daycares back to school. All we did was go “ah might be tough” and they delayed it 2 weeks. No one has any idea what they’re doing and we’re at 200 cases/day.

Yea, I've been at home since March due to COVID and will be until at least September.
But even if I were full time WFH, if given the option, I'd still want to send my kids to school. It's a much better learning environment, they have many friends, they generally like school. They're only 9 years old, twins. Plus if I kept them home that puts me and/or my wife putting in an entire day of work then having to deal with a couple of hours of e-Learning with the kids. Not a fan of that...at all.
That being said, our new WFH policy appears that I'll be able WFH 3 days per week future state once things get back to a more normal state, so they're going back no matter what lol.

Yea my kids too greatly miss school too and cant wait to go back and frankly they need to.
I have the flexibility to be home or in the office. I miss the office and looking forward to going back as well and back on the road for travel.
Just crazy to see them offering this so early in the Summer for the entire year already but I guess its nice to have options to figure out before the Fall.

I live 100 yards from my office. I now use my office as my storage. I go in on weekends still but I went back the other day during mkt hours and I’m never going back to trade. It hit me so hard as soon as I walked in, just never doing it again.
I know not everyone has that ability but I really just assume vast majority of people w the option won’t ever go back now. Pretty incredible.
As for school, preston is 2.5 and he did school this year and loved it, there is a summer camp right now that is open but we didn’t send him back. My wife doesn’t work so during the day she takes him and my daughter but I can see us sending him back in fall regardless as long as it is reasonably safe decision.
Wild times indeed
