Balmy 40 degrees with 20mph sustained wind and 30mph gusts... Happy Easter!
We are at 35 right now with 29mph winds and 38mph gusts. And we have a wintery mix starting in 4 minutes.
And it was 60 degrees yesterday

Today everywhere family trumps safety.
Alot of families getting together regardless of stay at home orders.

People are willing to die for something that didn’t happen.

For any readers out there I just finished Malcolm Gladwell's newest book Talking to Strangers and it is one of the best reads I've had in a while. Talks about many topics from police encounters, spies, sexual assault, Sandusky stuff and many more and goes in to how strangers interact and why most people react a certain way. Just a really really good read.

Used to be a Gladwell fan but I can’t do it anymore.

I love Gladwell, when did he lose you? I've read all his books and I think this is his best.

hes just a story teller and uses his unique ability to persuade with his writing/story telling to push narratives.
revisionist history is mostly what turned me off. he speaks on topics with authority that he has no true knowledge over to make enticing stories. most of which he takes great liberties to do with no science or math backing it.
i really used to love him, cause he speaks in a language i really enjoy and resonates with me... but i found the meat of his content to be lacking the more i followed him... which i guess is true of any content creator, over time you get watered down

Ironic.
The stimulus checks broke the US banking system.
Almost all large banks online portals are down.

I still can't believe people aren't getting anything if their kids are dependents and still in HS or College (17+).

Anyone have a riding lawn mower?
If so, what brand to you have or recommend?
I have an older Kubota and the engine is going to need rebuilt, so time to get rid of it and get a new one.
I am debating between the zero turns of Husqvarna Z254F and the Ariens Ikon XD.
I like the Ariens brand and the videos on youtube of the reviews are all good.
Can't find a ton on the Husqvarna, so I was curious what you all have.
I like Cub Cadet, the but Ultima ZT1 got kind of bad reviews for it's cutting quality. The deck vibrates and shakes so much it leaves stragglers when cutting at over half the speed it can go.

I had a Husqvarna and loved it.
I only had about an acre though and it was reliable and I did a ton of research before purchasing.
I sold it to Shel's father in law about 5 yeas ago and still going strong...I think.
Smooth ride, great clean cut, and powerful.

I have about an acre I cut each week, so about the same.
Lowes has the Husqvarna on sale right now for like 6% off, then if I use our Lowe's card, you get another 5% off.
I like the Ariens too, but it is about $300 more.

Not the same but I have an Ariens snow blower and absolutely love the it.
If you have anyone that is military or prior military have them "buy" it as it will be an additional 10% off

Go Husqvarna. They're great mowers and last. Had one for years.
