I remember seeing both of those. Perfect examples of the media pushing a false narrative and people buying into it

Re: Random Discussions
So is this a false narrative? Are the Italians dying the same as the kids in sandy hook?

If you look at the picture objectively you can see it's a false narrative they want to push. It's obviously not as bad as the reporter is making it out to be. Both are employees of the news station, if it was that bad they both would be in the same HAZMAT suit.

Testing seems to continue to be more important than a quarantine for everyone.

Basically, they've mass tested a town in Italy that was the center of all of this, and not long after, New cases are down to 0 in that town, while the rest of Italy is a huge mess even with the quarantines.
Re: Random Discussions
It's hard to know from the picture what is being said in the report though.GeorgesGoons wrote: ↑Thu Mar 19, 2020 5:03 pmIf you look at the picture objectively you can see it's a false narrative they want to push. What if they open the report by stating - "I'm standing here today in this suit to give you an idea of what a healthcare worker at a nearby hospital is wearing while performing their daily job." Then would it be a false narrative? Kind of hard to assume anything from this photo.

Really? You really don't think that do you? With the way our news has been over the last couple of years. It's been proven that the news has tried to make something out of nothing, Shel even mentioned a couple of the video's regarding it.dakshdar wrote: ↑Thu Mar 19, 2020 6:52 pmIt's hard to know from the picture what is being said in the report though.GeorgesGoons wrote: ↑Thu Mar 19, 2020 5:03 pmIf you look at the picture objectively you can see it's a false narrative they want to push. where was the pic taken from?
Re: Random Discussions
Those were videos that you could watch and listen to what they say. Personally, I don't make blind assumptions off something like this without information.GeorgesGoons wrote: ↑Thu Mar 19, 2020 7:11 pmReally? You really don't think that do you? SAG-AFTRA, which represents thousands of TV and radio news broadcasters around the country, is telling them to avoid traveling to coronavirus “hotspots” if possible, and that “if assigned to go into a hotspot, you must be provided a hazmat suit, respirator and proper training.”
The union also said: “Reporters should not conduct in-person interviews with individuals who are known to have been exposed or have been diagnosed with COVID-19. All such interviews must be conducted with the use of phone, video-chat, etc. While it is the responsibility of the employer to maintain a safe working environment for you,” the guild said, “personal care can also help in keeping everyone safe during this time of abundant caution.”
could it be something as simple as that? geez 1 google search.

That very last quote is so on brand for Trump. He's wrong at literally every turn, then in the end says he knew all along before everyone else.
