Today is a pretty massive jump in cases in the US, and the day isn't over.

The daily stuff I've posted are just facts, I'm not in front of or behind them. They're just facts.

I haven't yet. A buddy of mine went at 5am when he got off work and there was nothing (this was last Wednesday though). Gonna have to try to find out when they stock shelves. Another buddy went to Costco and they had 3 pallets of TP when he got to the store, said it was down to 1 when he left. People are assholes. I hope they get explosive diarrhea and a case of the sneezes

I'm assuming it'll get better.
Try Lowe’s, Home Depot, or Menards (assuming you’re still in Omaha). Places people don’t think to buy TP, but we found a ton still at Lowe’s after the rush. Also wondering whether places like Office Depot would have any.

I wonder actually. What's the percentage of the population over 60 in those areas? That seems to be where you see the most people not recovering. Part of why Italy's numbers are so bad (largest population over 60 in the world based on percentage).

Very high combined with a trillion people in tight quarters with pollution and other domestic factors.

More so speaking to India but Africa will be bad as well.

Surprised it hasn’t hit the fan yet there.

List of them I've heard:
1.) Chemical weapon being developed in Wuhan, at 1 of 50 centers in the world, also linked to the Harvard guy. 1 specific theory says the animals that were being tested were somehow sold at the wet markets. (seen a few variations)
2.) Intentional release from that lab, on their own citizens to fight the overpopulation.
3.) Disease was started in the US to kill elderly, to offset social security issues. Elderly Chinese brought it back to Wuhan, where it was discovered being in close relation to the facility.
4.) Deeper theory on the chemical weapon piece that the RNA has specific strands that align with HIV, MERS and SARS. This is a test run to gauge response.

That's the fun with conspiracy theories... there's always some kind of nugget of logic to them, but you've got to make some pretty desperate jumps to believe them.

get rdy for life to never be the same again

TL;DR - do nothing and 4 million americans die
Do something and 2 million die
Do supression and it peaks in 3 weeks and thousands die.
However,
Go back outside and it returns and millions die again
Thought is going forward itll be 1 month out, 2 month supression til vaccine is rdy

get rdy for life to change for a bit.

a real ethical Q that will arise during this.. do we do the rolling out effect or do we let the dam break and accept the overwhelming death that will come for 6ish months? Cause itll take 18ish months with multiple supressions to kill less.. but if the dam breaks and everyone got.

looks like models suggest itd be done by Sept.. but least done.. but a lottt of American deaths.

scary times.
