Looks like some kind of court document is going to be unsealed that the Yankees fought to keep sealed. It allegedly shows during the Astros sign stealing scandal that the MLB proactively hid evidence of sign stealing by the Yankees.
Get your popcorn ready!

I know there aren't many MLB fans but I love Opening Day as it signifies the start of Spring, the Masters, and just a great time of year.
Go Sox!! (the red ones, not George's terrible white ones)

White Sox haven't won an opening day game since 2015. They still gonna cruise to an AL Central Division title

Kershaw perfect thru 7 with 11 K' and only 80 pitches. He gets pulled after the 7th
I was fully expecting to see over 100 pitches

Tough call as a manager.

1st start of season and often injured last season, good call to pull. if you dont and he goes thru 8th , then your committed to the 9th and who knows with his health and 1st start and arm strength early in season.

I get it, but the chance of a perfect game is so rare (23 in MLB history) I think you let him go for it. But then you chance him injuring himself and hurting the club's chances this year. Extremely tough call. I wonder what Kershaw thought about it, didn't see anything of what he thought.

kershaw said he was cool being pulled. his slider had no bite for 2 innings and at 30+ with the lockout and stuff, he wasnt stretched out.

there is no way to predict this at all, but i'd bet he would take a full healthy season over a perfect game at this point in his career.
He's already probably a HOFer so its not like a perfect game would tip the scales......it would have been cool though
