History then accomplishments on the reports page- you can see stuff like hitting streaks, cycles and no hitters. Pretty cool

Oh Pat Jones is in FA. Unlikely he gets there then. :(

Some rebuilding team needs to grab him and give him a chance!

Holy shit that Triple Crowns tab is pretty fucking short.....Santos is crazy....

And how did Villy only do it once. That's nuts too.

Crazy that the first pitching triple crown was in 2057- we have had some pretty great pitchers and I would've thought it was done sooner.

- I have decided that twice a year (beginning of May and beginning of July) I will be checking minor league rosters to make sure no one is over limits. If a team is over at any level (without reason) I will use the AI to re-org your minors. This will cause the AI to:
1) Move guys to the level they think they should be
2) Make sure the roster limits are respected
3) Move any extra players (usually the "worst" according to the AI) to DFA
I don't think this is the solution. Using AI to reorganize someone else's organization is a bit extreme.
Agree, this is dumb.

So basically we have to be under 138 players in the minors?

That's what it would be if we are at roster limits- I thought it was going to be higher

Just don't be over the limits at each respective level (26,26,26,30,30). 164 is what's in the rules and that includes your ML roster. 164-26=138

https://statsplus.net/ndl/roster/ - Yes I wonder why....you are currently 100 players over. That's basically like having more tickets in the lottery than other people without paying extra. I don't think it's particularly fair.

Well its on the others that don't have more players. There is no reason to limit minor league rosters.

That's one theory for sure. However, our rules state otherwise. If you would like to put that up at Winter Meetings you for sure can.

Just don't be over the limits at each respective level (26,26,26,30,30). 164 is what's in the rules and that includes your ML roster. 164-26=138
I think a potential problem with enforcing every level is it forces teams to play players at levels they're either not ready for or are too advanced for. So that could mean forcing guys up and hurting their development because you only have open spots at a higher level or having AAA level players with no room in AAA dominating at a lower level - which in the past the league has felt negatively impacted the other players at that lower level.

If a team is at 138, does it matter how many they have at each respective level?

I thought we were chilling at 164 in minors lmao

I just think 138 is too few tbh and I also agree with Dak. I think it should be atleast 30 per team in minors tbh.

Also we draft way too many guys- 25 rounds is way too many if we are only going to have 30 in R ball

This is a good argument for sure. I will say that there is enough minor league fodder out there to fill those respective holes though. Especially if teams with upwards of 250 or even 300 guys in their minors are forced to relinquish those guys. Filling in holes shouldn't be an issue.

It's designed that way to make sure there are enough players for everyone's minors. Just cut the scrubs who get auto-drafted is what I do. Last thing you want in an online league is not enough guys to fill out minors with anything other than 20/20s.....IMO anyway.

My biggest concern with this approach outlined perfectly right here.

I usually follow the recommendations, whether right or wrong, on when guys should be at certain levels that the game tells me mixed with time spent at a certain level + development.

I think the rule needs to be enforced other than asking AI. Organizational fine makes more sense.
