But you don't have to sign a coach if you don't want to if Billy goes that route. Yea, it'll be for every team to have them but they don't have to sign any. We had some teams with their minors full of coaches while others didn't have any coaches. I don't think it really affected anything in how the game was played/managed. I think it'll just be something for the few of us that want a little more immersion to get exactly that.

That's on the GM if they do not want to have coaches. I'll take my chances to see if there is a developmental advantage to having coaches

Isn't it great to have free will?!? If a team doesn't use them then and it has a negative effect then that was their choice. I honestly don't see why anyone wouldn't use them at least for a season just to see. It could be a competitive advantage for the people that do use them over the ones that do not, but then again it could be a waste of money using coaches. That's the great thing, we get to chose whether we want them or not. Billy already said he won't enforce teams to have managers.

Your argument makes no sense. You're advocating for adding coaches back, against the will of people that have voted MULTIPLE times to remove them, by telling them to just not use this feature you're adding back to the game. If you want to use coaches so badly, start up your own offline file and play with them yourself. There is a reason we voted to remove them previously, why would you want to bring something back that only a handful of players will use willingly? If we can just pick and choose what we want to use from now on I guess I'm just going to decide my team doesn't have a budget limit anymore. Or, I don't think my team will participate in Free Agency. On top of that, you really have no idea what the impact of adding coaches back will be to the league.
Not to mention, its rather bullshit that we're so diplomatic that we vote on almost everything. Yet a feature gets a shiny revamp and all of a sudden we're going to add it in without voting despite having just gotten rid of coaches not long ago. Seems legit.

I've made lots of changes without a vote. You just don't want them and that is fine, don't use them. If you think it is hurting you than use them. They are coming back so time to move on to the acceptance phase.

Yes, I've been for keeping coaches for people that want to have them. And if you do not want to use them so badly, get the fuck out and start your own league. Pretty simple by your own standards. There is no feet to the fire moment that makes you hire coaches. If you don't want them, don't hire the fuckers. And you have zero idea what the impact of having coaches back in the league has either, so that argument is moot.
And we have never been diplomatic. If there is a rule the commish has deemed necessary or willing to try, they make the change and we adjust from there. Been like that for the 60 seasons I've been here

Pro move to just repeat what I said back to me. Really brought a lot to the conversation there. Very on par for you to leave it on someone else to prove that your actions don't have negative consequences. And, we've already had coaches in the league, so its not a great argument to say that I don't know what the impact of having coaches is.
Also, this isn't a rule, this is someone bringing back something that has already been voted down multiple times.

if 50 is "MLB Starter" then this draft is pretty solid all things considered. about 60-100 players 44+ potential which means they have a chance in the pros. Adding 3-4 ML players from a draft would be considered a success.

I actually just moved my amateur budget to 10% cause it feels like a crapshoot after round 3 anyway and you can get decent guys just by looking at their bars.
