Why did I ever trade Wilson Perez, i knew he was gonna be a stud

i like to manually take care of my minors. forever, i couldnt figure out how to set it up. Read a few sites, going with the age stance again

R - 18
SA - 19
A - 20-21
AA - 22-23
AAA - 24+

Your top prospects should probably never hit AAA as its a spot for AAAA players and log jams.

This system isn't perfect. its like 95% tho. You can look at younger players killing and call up/send down on your own discretion. I moved a 1B and OF to A cause I want them to play an entire year.

If you guys with 25+ yr olds in your rookie ball could kindly move them to stop fucking the rest of our development, thatd be great.

it always pains me to release guys in R ball because of the .00001% chance they turn out the be good for another team lmao

Played a hell of a 3B last year for us and by far the better hitter let alone his contract in this new world of OOTP.

Just an internal jab at Hank as we have been talking about Rivera for what feels like 2 seasons now.

ya my scout is incredible and absolutely hates some of my early picks from recent drafts. like, 10 contact pot hate. but I cant release them yet cause when they kill it for Sheltown i'll have to listen to it for a few months

How do 25 year old guys on someone else's rookie team mess up your guys development?

people leave 25 year olds that should probably be in AA or AAA and they end up rocking the young guys that are less developed

Ok. That would make sense. I was assuming, big mistake, that guys would move a 20+ year old playing good to a higher league. Was envisioning some 20/20 type 20+ year old's and couldn't imagine they'd have any impact on someone else's development.

champions league is soccer based and uses multiple countries champions to face off in a tournament to show best of the best. I wanted to always make a 12-16 country baseball league where every teams champs/runner up face off in a tournament between say Nov-Jan (with Jan+ being UFA) to crown the Champs League. Didnt think was possible. Apparently it is.

Here is what the ootp manual says:

League Associations
The League Associations option (Game Menu >> Current Game section >> League Associations) is where you can create and administer league associations in your game:

League associations enable leagues to interact in specific ways (e.g. trading between them, a common draft pool, a post-season featuring clubs from the member leagues, etc.), while allowing each league to retain its unique settings and characteristics, such as active roster size, secondary roster size, and so on. There are two game screens related to league associations:

16 countries. WS CHamp of each + best record in reg season (if same team, then runner up in finals). 32 total teams. potted and put into 8 divisions. round robin vs each team (3 games), lead top 16 to playoffs, all best of 3, to determine the champions of the world!
