This isn't deranged individuals.

This is terrorism. Let's stop saying it's just white people shooting, and start calling it what it is. Three individuals, dressed in tactical military gear, who had an organized plan to hurt/kill innocent people is TERRORISM.

And if I hear one more Republican politician offer "thoughts and prayers".....that doesn't change a DAMN THING, you morons. How about you actually offer a plan to stop this stuff?!

War on Drugs, War on Terrorism. It's all the same thing. Gun Control, yadda yadda yadda. To think that a Republican or a Democrat can end the downward spiral of society is asinine.

terrorism/mass shootings are a horrible problem. but there are millions of other good things that have happened to our society right along side it that will never get the same attention because fear>good to the masses. to simply look at terrorism as the biggest thing is ridiculous.

and i hope when you hear someone else say something like this you stop them and cut them off and don't let them spew this nonsense.

No, my point is the whole "oh, prayers sent, back to doing whatever I was doing" is a rhetoric that needs to stop. Something needs to change. Simply sending "thoughts and prayers" isn't going to fix this epidemic.

This is a very weird scenario.

They are stating one room of the center was targeted, not the center. It was being rented for a holiday party by a group with no affiliation to the actual center.

3 gunmen which doesn't normally go with the disgruntled employee MO.

He also (as he did days ago) called for reform. That's my point. Sending thoughts/prayers is nice and all, but it doesn't fix things. I don't care who does it, I don't care what they do, but changes need to be made. Start bringing ideas to the table.

You guys are all so funny. I'm not fearful, nor do I live my life with worries. My wife and I have raised 3 great kids that are respectful and do the right things. But you all try to jump on the "Grumpy" persona that comes across in my posts. I didn't even know about the shooting, nor did I look it up. But I find it funny that people will put blame on the President, Senators, etc.

don't be so quick to want politicians to rush to make change.

many events like this create horrible policies that are filled with backdoor deals that get passed due to public pressure.

preventing people from doing this is incredibly hard if they don't have fear of losing their own lives. it doesn't matter what policies we put into place, they aren't stopping any time soon
