Never said I work hard...Just being here for 8 hours a day year round is work enough.
From the looks of it, teachers aren't exactly working much harder than me though judging by AJ's posting habits during work hours.

I honestly have zero clue how classes are taught nowadays, I don't think I could be more ignorant of the process than I am.
I'm assuming textbooks and overhead projectors!!!

I started at 55K take home in 11 monthly payments. I dont get paid in August. I make right around 5K a month which includes class covergae etc. and its my second year. I do have my Masters degree though so I started at a high pay rate.

Plus you live in California which I am assuming has a much higher cost of living versus smaller parts of florida or indiana.

August is not the paper month.

California isn't much more expensive than someplace else if you're in the burbs like me. Now beach living is very expensive.

Ran 10 miles this morning, just got out of the pool. Gonna get some lunch then I think I'll take a nap before the kids' baseball games tonight.
