why bother being in the league then?
a list is a list. you rank the players from your #1 choice to you last choice. It doesnt change based on who gets picked at all.
I mean making a pick in 15 minutes isn't a priority for most people. We have an eight hour window, and some guys are freaking out when someone takes more than 20 minutes to make a pick. God forbid someone has a job, or kids, or wants to boot up the program to take a look. Damn.
Also, it DOES change based on who gets picked; if I'm looking at getting a SS later because they're lots of depth at that position that I think will last, but then there's a big run on it, that might change my strategy towards waiting to take one if there's a guy I want. I might take him now and then grab something else later, rather than risk him not being there when it gets around to me again because I thought said depth would last. You can't tell other people how to draft or how their draft strategy should be built. There's a reason that the game heavily uses the "and/or" strategy in the draft list.
the draft started 2 days ago...its rocket science to make a list 40 guys long or so?
i've got 2 jobs, a wife and 2 kids. i dont want to hear that bullshit. its guys right to take the full 8 hours if thats their choice. but stop with the fucking "priorities" garbage.
you join the league, you have an obligation to the other 29 guys. plain and simple. Same with scheduling NDL games. you know about that right?
not for one second do i think I'm more important than anyone else in the league thus i will do my best to get my pick in in a timely manner.
stop making excuses and make a pick. its pretty simple
I'm fairly certain that the draft has an 8 hour pick deadline, and that the draft itself is still like a week or two away, yes?
And I'm also fairly certain that on that day, we will hold a live draft for the remainder of that draft, yes?
If so, then I'm really not sure what the "obligation" is that people are breaking by taking a few hours to make their pick. You will get your first round pick in before we get to the draft, and your supplemental, and your second round, and probably your THIRD round, at the pace we are going. With or without 30 people sending in a list.
I made my picks. I had a list ready. But I stayed in contact w Reign to make my picks when the time comes. My point is, I'm not going to harp on others for taking a few hours when Reign has clearly stated that we have an 8 hour window, so I'm really not seeing what the big deal is.

We won't be doing the remainder of the draft, no.
And yes Reign set an 8 hour Window, but he also made a post saying he's disappointed that not enough guys are sending lists.
And I assume we'll eventually go to a 4 hour limit due to this.

question is this...when bear typed up his smarmy "you can pick for me the rest of the draft" and he was only a few picks away why couldn't he, be thoughtful, and send Reign a pm with a few players. That's the underlying theme here. Its not having to wait around, it's guys know Reign wanted lists if you were not going to be around and yet very few have sent them in. It's a matter of being thoughtful...but I know thats hard to do for many people.

Again, I can't speak for others. I can only speak for myself. I didn't send in a list, but at the same time I checked in every hour, and when I saw that I was closing in, I kept up with it and I was ready for my picks. I was staying up for something else this morning so I was around anyways, and I was right there to give Reign my picks when my time came.

I didn't take it seriously and unless you have confirmation that's who he wants I doubt it stands.

Reign, ask the union for a raise to deal with our dramatics and bitch fests. You aren't paid enough.

I dont have the game to reference, just skip me or pick whoever. Its not life and death. Moreno or Justin Beaver, its all the same.

What are things that are said when your team is completely bad ass and stacked for $500 Alex?

He also has like 12 picks in the first 80. Law of averages state he'll get something good with "best available", so I probably wouldn't care much either.
Also, you did that totally wrong. You give the answer in the form of a question,
after you choose category/money value

Well it is 11:30 at night.
That being said, I know we should let Reign make the final call, but we do have to move on from Bear to the next pick, no doubt.

Why does it stop after I make my pick? I'm sure Corey wouldn't take too long.
