I think cal is going to be tall.

He is like a couple inches under your 2 year Olds and already wearing 1t size as an 11 month old

apparently the Dr can look at some bone in their wrist and tell you about how tall they'll be.

Every single check up from the post birth check up all the way until his recent 9 month he has been 98% percentile in length.

I say length because he isn't standing on his own

His clothes fit funny because his actual size is way to short for shorts, shirts and stuff but then the bigger size fits perfectly length wise but baggy as hell

I mean I'm tall, he probably will be as well I assume.

The rule of thumb I was always taught was double their height at two. That is how tall they will be.

Our Twins are 3 now and 50 percent of the time they are a lot alike then the other 50 percent they are so different. Our older son-Carter and the older Twin-Jake are into Godzilla, werewolves, all animals, and are very selective eaters but are built like good dad, short and stocky. Our other son/twin Alec-is still into yo gabba, caliou, Phineas and ferb, etc...and will eat everything under the sun. If he sees the wife and I drinking or eating he thinks it is good enough and he wants it as well. And he is thin like his mom. Never a dull moment when all 3 are up

I'm glad the Gabba phase seems to be over, though I'm sure it'll make a comeback. Our current fad is Bubble Guppies

Also, my 2 are 100% different 100% of the time, it's nuts. And the obviously bigger one rarely eats anything while the smaller one will devour any and everything in his path.

Gunner's NFL career was shortened last night suffering his 1st concussion. Maybe he won't stand up on the arm of the couch like Jimmy Superfly Snuka any more...though that's highly doubtful

Fell off the couch, landed on the back of his head...proceeded to(about 45 minutes later) start vomiting and start going back and forth between sleeping for 2 minutes and waking up for 2 minutes, and was generally just out of it. After the 2nd vomit, we took him to the ER, CT scan came out ok, good to go. It wasn't until almost 3 hours later that he came to and was back to normal.

Add it to the resume with the broken toe. His career is going to resemble that of Lorenzo Contreras of the Washington Thunder Crabs.

Must be some scary shit as a parent. I bet my wife would of been on the horn to 911 before he even made contact with the ground initially.

I hear ya, but man, these dudes fall soooooo much that at the moment it happens, you think nothing of it at all. Then the other thing is, I didn't see the fall so at the moment, you don't realize how bad it was.

He usually never naps, but after he fell, he seemed sleepy, and even fell asleep but he did have a 10-20 span after his fall and before he slept where he drank some milk and watched some TV, so he seemed back to normal, so I didn't even question it when he fell asleep. About 45 minutes later, he woke up vomiting with the glazed look. He would still talk and answer questions and remembered how he fell, but you'd have to ask him 5 times just to get his attention, then he'd answer.

Is this your 2nd fumble of a twin that resulted in an ER visit?

I remember the bathroom fumble. Even though this isnt a fumble, more of a uncovered man.

Glad he is ok though. You have tile too, damn!

No, it was definitely a rainy game, slippery ball just slipping right through your hands type fumble/drop.

Yea, I didn't see the fall, but I know it was a loud thud. Thinking back now obviously, had I saw it, I'm sure I would have realized it was much worse. Like I said, I caught him standing up completely on the arm of the couch earlier, he even had a little timeout because of it, but that obviously didn't stop him from going back.

As I was holding him immediatley after he fell, I was doing the parent move and saying, "See, this is why I tell you not to stand up on the couch" blah blah blah, all the while he was just seeing stars, having no clue what I was even saying lol.

Yea, head falls are just freaky if you see them.

Cal came in from outside playing in the water and had wet feet and booked it into the kitchen and fell straight backwards on the back of the melon. He did one of those hold your breath screams for about 30 seconds it seemed.

I am thinking Lacey was at work and you were outmanned, 2 to 1. Tough odds there.

glad to hear he is ok shel.

My wife was holding our son, he was about 4 months old, he reared back and fell right out of her arms. hit his head on the stove before hitting his head on the floor. He did the same thing as Corey's son where he did the hold your breath cry. It felt like forever before he started crying.

We went right to the hospital and had him checked out. No throwing up or anything, but for 2 newbies, we were scared as hell.
Everything checked out good.

Time flies too, I cannot believe he will be 1 year old tomorrow.
