This sim will encompass the draft. Since we have had a majority of the league request to go on auto, we will use the in-game list exclusively for this season. If anyone wants to draft live, I will be more than happy to set up an AIM chat room and we can go through the draft together. Let me know as we get close.

Fri, Feb 4 @ 5PM: Five day sim until ST begins (Game date end: 3/8)

Can someone fill me in on what the problem was last season with the 40-man shit? I remember the problem vaguely, searching the OOTP forum and seeing a solution, but I forget the problem.

The schedule for the weekend will be TBD (and no long delays, I promise) as the weekends are hairy. They could be dead as fuck or I could be working until 3AM and sleeping at work.

The problem was when u put guys (or I think AI puts them on, cant remember for sure) on your ST roster it uses an option year, and if they are out of options, then u cant put them back where they were (minors) without passing waivers...

Yes! OK, I *think* I read that we can stop it the day before and do something to solve that. I'll look.

Is there and update tonight or does it all start tomorrow?

I think you and I discussed this way back after year 1 when I noticed this.

Basically, you have to stop the sim 1 day before the 1st day of ML service so they don't accrue 1 day of ML Service time. And on that day, we fix our rosters, going down to 25.

No, there was not, I couldn't get myself to a computer Saturday so I didn't want to have an unannounced one.

This offseason has been a big disappointment for the bulldogs, So far I have not signed one free agent, I have made it rain for a couple of free agents and they have signed with other teams for less money.

I really enjoy this game

I am having trouble, too. Miami keeps raising their bid for the guys I want. But, I am sure we all feel bad for the two-time Pacific champions, Steel City. :0

Honestly though I only offered some guys another year or a couple K more. I have to over pay when the team wins 30 games the previous year.

In my offline league i fucked around with, every single pitcher in AAA and AA got injured, and not like small injuries, 22-23 months with a "dead arm". Apparently I killed a bunch of kids cause half the squad had torn muscles, fuckin awful
