Hey Steve, i vote for us to bump up to heisman for our next season. There is no way my Army team (d+) should be able to hang with Texas (a-). I was able to throw the ball very well (they blitzed a lot but still) and defensively i was able to stop them alot. I didnt expect to play through halftime where i thought i would be down by so much i would sim the 2nd half. To my suprise i got some fumbles and what not but would like to see us bump up. Either way just a suggestion....

WAIT!!! Are you saying D+ Utah State shouldn't have been able to hang with, much less beat, Oklahoma, Boise State and Pitt in the same season? Hush your mouth. The Aggies are a powerhouse to be reckoned with and don't you doubt it.

I have no problem with it if the majority wants to change.

Totally agree. I'm still surprised, shocked and disappointed that the NDL (with the charge led by Nole) would drop down to AA. I wholeheartedly vote for HEISMAN! It's what the top online NCAA should be using (not that we're voting and not that I'm in the NDL anymore, haha) and it's what we should do!

I wouldnt say the charge was lead by nole, when the game came out everyone played a ton of games, discussion was had. Ultimately the choice was AJ's, hes the boss, and he chose what was best for everyone in the ndl not just a select few and personally i think hes always done a great job when making choices for the NDL.

Anyhow, back to us going to heisman for our dynasty, i think its a great move. I think user vs user will be different than user vs computer. But we ll c. I still vote theres no way like i said above that texas isnt beating me by the 4th quarter....

you can express yourself without throwing your pateneted little digs at NDL, NDL management, myself or AJ

I am always trying to be the better man, "get your back", give u the benefit of the doubt and allow you around NDL and NDL related stuff such as online dynasties, boards and lightning but i have reached my limit. i dont have patience for this shit anymore and am not gonna baby you.

you're not a newb anymore and have had plenty of incedences/warnings. We're not going down this path again.

Express yourself without the jabs or you're gone. You're not as smart as you think you are and your comments intent are way more obvious and less subtle than you think.

You'll be the 1st and only person removed from NDL not for gameplay but just for flat out being an ass and demoralizing the league.

Sorry it had to come to this but im done with your shit.

This is your last warning.

Thanks

Nole (leading the charge to remove Tom from NDL)

I should have clarified what I meant by, "with the charge led by Nole". I was going back to the discussion thread created to let people throw out their thoughts on AA & Heisman, in this year's game. The thread ended up at around 12 pages. But it was at about page 5 where Nole got on there and went nuts about how much he disliked Heisman and if the NDL decided to go with Heisman, he would play his 36 Heisman level games and wouldn't play any others on that level, etc.... Obviously not word for word, but when I saw an Admin come out so strongly against Heisman (the level that the NDL has always used, I concluded that this was game, set & match...it will be All-American. I actually was surprised that there was so much discussion after that point. Anyhoo, that's what I meant. The Admins run the league and it's not like the decision was put to a league wide vote or anything, so that's what I was getting at.

So I shouldn't have used the word, "charge". And not really the word, "disappointed". But I'm sure alot of people are surprised that we went away from what's always been done before. Alot of times in the past we've had NCAA games that were really challenging when they first came out and the league decided that with time we all would play enuff to get it figured out. Alot of times in the past, NDL members have pushed for AA just for the sake of having more fun, high scoring games. Finally, after all these seasons, the NDL goes AA. It's a surprise, right? And now, people are realizing that AA is becoming less and less of a challenge, to no surprise. So I am in this online dynasty's majority, that we should be on Heisman.

Anyways, it wasn't a "CHARGE led by Nole"....but he's pivotal member of the NDL and his opinion speaks volumes. When I saw his opinion, it meant alot. And that goes for his opinion of me as well, believe it or not. I know I've only continued to be a part of this world because I play the game about as straight and fair as almost anyone that's passed thru here before. That won't change.

1st of all, this is no offense to you both, but please don't bring this up in this forum please. I am leaving it at that.

2nd thing, Tom, the NDL, has NOT always been on Heisman. The first year that we used heisman I think was the first year we used the ps3. I believe every season prior to that, we were always on AA.

Either way, this convo is done.

kdog is the only one with a game left. We are advancing tonight regardless.

I will do my best to get things posted tonight as far as who can choose from what star prestige and what teams are available. Once it is posted I will give everyone 24 hours to decide what they want to do

It appears we will jump up to heisman for this next season.

Also, I believe Mattdaddy will be joing us for the upcoming season.

Any idea for non-bowlers when we'll have something to actually do in the OD? I haven't checked it since i played my last game

When we advance tonight, you will have something to do (see post above). Once teams are assigned, everyone will have stuff to do as we head to off-season recruiting and the like.

We have advanced. Below you will find who can move to what prestige level and what teams are available. If you stayed at a 1 star, you can stay at your school or change to any other 1 star team. If you are allowed to move up and wish to stay with your school, that is fine. Please have all choices to me by 1030 PM EST tomorrow night. If I do not get an answer from you, I will keep you at your current school. There will be no requirement on how many teams must be chosen from a certain conference now that people are moving up, but everyone will be required to have at least one user game. If anyone chooses Army or Navy, they will be put into C-USA, otherwise you have no chance of winning your conference (which could help you move up) unless you don't want to.

Can Choose from a 3 star program or below:
Weiser - Michigan St

I'll take Texas Tech. Do we move ourselves or do you want to do it yourself? We can do it ourselves in dynasty setup.
