Great site.
I wonder how they determine a "recovered" case. It's not like people who are feeling better are going back and stating so in most healthcare scenarios. Unless there is different protocol of course for anyone deemed positive with the virus.

Was just about to ask how they determine recovered.
That site is information overload. You could spend hours if not days combing thru the different graphs and information

Everything I've read said most places have a system where they have to pass 2x-3x before being declared. Apparently early on, they were only doing 1 test, but found that the tests were less than 70% accurate. So they had situations were someone would test negative, they'd declare them recovered, then they'd test positive again.

I would expect that once you're been declared to have it, realistically, you should have quarantine at the end of which you have a follow-up visit for another test after 2-3 weeks. They should schedule that right when you leave when you are first diagnosed.
Of course that would be logical, which these things rarely ever seem to be.

Not sure if you guys are watching the news conference. But to be cleared of the virus, you must have 2 consecutive cultures taken 24 hours apart to be deemed cleared.

Yea which being in the hospital/healthcare field there is a super low adherence level for follow up visits once someone feels better as its another cost and they are already "fixed".
This is a different world though so I assume people are more interested in that follow up clearance.

Anyone heard from Riccio? I'm sure this is taking a toll with his job. I couldn't imagine the stress that he would have with how volatile the market is.

Just about every school in the country is this way. In states where there are confirmed cases.

It is because they are not testing. My wife was sent to Weirton, WV today and they tested her for the normal flu, but not COVID-19. Told her they can't test for it.
