And that was STUPID by the Colts. They just gave us another shot at this game!!!
How so? I'd rather be up 10 with 1:47 to go than up 3 with the ball and an offense that had struggled since Collie went out. You take those points every single time in that situation unless you're a complete retard.

Over having the ball with less than 1:50 to go, the other team having only one timeout, and thus you can kneel out the clock?

That said Del Rio showed awful clock management before the 2 min warning....just awful.

I don't even know what happened and I agree with you. Having the ball > 99.9% of other situations.

I have counted no less than 50 headshots today. Then they flag Ryan Clark for it when he didn't do it.

The NFL is so hypocritical that simply saying it doesn't do the thought justice. Meanwhile, they are doing next-to-nothing to actually solve the "problem" of long-term head issues.

Just based on the info given, I'd also prefer to have the ball up 3, 1st and 10 with less than 2 minutes left and the opposing team with less than 2 timeouts.

Yeah. People put too much stock in the "trust your defense" (or whatever) axiom. Defenses don't score (you know what I mean) and offenses do.

Especially against a team that this season alone has hit:

a 59 yd FG
a hail mary TD to end the game

So I stand again by what I said, that he should've gone down and run out the clock.

Only difference is, on that last 4th down play, there was no fumble-rooskie-double-reverse-miraculous-TD and win after you thought they officially lost to save the day from the horrible clock management.
