Gotta brag on my potential rookie of the year next year, 1B JJ Taylor. I called him up with 13 games left in the regular season as we needed some offense and he was killing it in AAA.
He is on a current 10 game hitting streak, going:
21/36 (.583), 12 runs, 5 RBIs, 9 BBs, 3 Ks, 5 2Bs, 4 HRs, 1 SB with 8 multi-hit games.
Since the call up he is:
24/49 (.490), 12 Rs, 7 RBS, 9 BBs, 7 Ks, 5 2Bs, 4 HRs, 1 SB, .569 OBP, .837 SLG, 1.406 OPS with 9 multi-hit games
I hope he can continue riding this wave in the playoffs.

Stud in college, but I assume most were hesitant about taking a 1B/DH type that early in the draft... Certainly proving his worth however, solid pick Ran

Is there anything us non-playoff losers need to do on '15 before the rollover or is it happening right at the end of the season game date?

Nothing you will need to do beforehand.
Corey will need to take our 15, import it into 16, then import that into 17.
Then when he starts the new season thread, it will be a 17 file that he posts and everyone will need to grab that.

Can I literally just move our NDL.lg folder to OOPT 17, that simple?
Never did that before, so not sure how it works. I'd definitely do it if it's that easy and post up results.

You can download the trial of 16, then you choose the import league option. No need to buy it just to import.
It will convert our 15 to 16.
Then you do the same thing in 17 with importing our 16 file.

Turns out I was only half right. You can import into 17 but you will only be able to check out new features like coach relationships, new screens, and whether or not your team's player ratings changed or not (quite a few differences!) as a non commish. You will not be able to sim so you'd have to recreate the league settings in a separate offline franchise to see how the new game works

Does that still involve first importing to '16, then over to '17?

You'd need every playoff team to export now with 25 man rosters set, no? Typically that isn't required until the day of the playoffs? People would need some heads up if that would change...
