its like you're just trying to flame so hard you're making up arguments and points against yourself.
I said, "But even if LeBron scores 100 points the next two games Wade is still the MVP."

And you said if he plays well it won't make a difference. I mentioned that he simply wouldn't be the MVP.

sweet!!!

I seriously think that Lebron goes off in Game 6. Big time.
Everyone said that about game 5, I don't think now he just turns on a switch and goes off. Only way i see is with a ton of ref help on the home court but that would mean he has to be aggressive which I haven't seen this entire series.

Im more inclined to see wade go off for a 40 point game because he "gets it".

Well, if anyone CAN flip a switch and a series, it's LeBron. The stunning thing about all of this is that nobody on the Mavs should logically be able to guard him yet he's so passive.

Still, I'll say he has a big game 6

Well, I didn't say 100 points the next two games and he's still a choke artist, failure...etc. So him scoring like that would make a difference.

I'll go 24, 7, 8

Which is a very solid game but i hope 14 of those 24are in the 4th quarter carrying them to victory.

I'm bored @ 4p on a Friday... so here are my guesses at the big 3's stat lines for Sunday night:

D. Wade
36 pts, 6 reb, 3 ast, 2 blk, 2 stl

C. Bosh
17 pts, 9 reb, 2 ast, 0 blk, 0 stl

L. James
25 pts, 7 reb, 9 ast, 1 blk, 1 stl

My thought process is, Lebron gets a bit more aggressive playing at home and gets a few beneficial calls to help his productivity at the line. But he's not going to take over the game. Wade is going to be the guy that steps up, for his team, on his court. Bosh, well, he'll get his handful of points and scream a little and make a few funny faces too.

Barring dallas making another 70% of there 3s, if the Big 3 put up that statline, they're in good shape.

LeBatard made a great point today about the charge call late on Lebron(which at full speed is a 50/50 call and not wrong either way IMO). If Lebron gets that call and gets the and 1, and hypothetically if miami goes on to win, imagine possibly how much the outlook on Lebron changes. Not just in that game, but the series and even his legacy. The 17/10/10 suddenly turns into 20/10/10 with possibly the biggest play of the game. They probably win a title and so on and so forth.

Wouldn't have mattered, Dallas would have made another rainbow 3 that went off the scoreboard.

They weren't missing last night.

I didn't feel it was 50/50 and the fact that LeBron didn't bitch makes me believe the call was solid. But if it would have been called a block it certainly would have changed things.

"ABC & ESPN: Don't tell anyone, but if there's a Game 7, Disney makes an extra $110 billion (all numbers approximate). You might see everyone on Dallas foul out in Game 6. I think Tyson Chandler already has 2 fouls and the game doesn't start for another 48 hours."

guys postseason averages are almost always similar to their regular season averages.... almost always.
back to back's, awful teams, some with absolutely no defense, questionable motivation, working out new gameplans, less rest, way more possessions

...all are factors that change it quite a bit. Obviously a 25ppg scorer isn't going to score 2ppg in the playoffs, but I think comparing the numbers are apples to oranges in saying you can criticize somebody for not putting up their season averages in such a different atmosphere

logically it makes sense what you're saying but in reality its not true.

its not my opinion, i'm just going by the numbers

yes i did.

i thought that a bang/bang play where the guy barely got there and was almost in the circle could have been called either way.

how incredibly homer-ish of me to think that it was reasonable to have it called either way.

In the circle didn't matter because of where LBJ established possession.

And James, one of the biggest whiners in the game (yup Kobe does it too), didn't say a word about the call.

numbers are sometimes illogical, I think that's what we call randomness.

I'm satisfied with your conclusion, though. Good day and I will be playing the Heat in game 6, just waiting to see if the number drops a bit more

Do you Miami/LBJ guys think Spoelstra has James playing too many minutes?
