Re: Random Discussions
I'm gonna have to try it. If it is the same chicken sandwich as they had 5 or so years ago then I just don't see it. It was decent but not wait in line for more than 10 minutes good. Never had the Chick-fil-A sandwich.Cnasty wrote:I'd love to find out!

Re: Random Discussions
What I have gathered from ALLLLL the analysis vs the best chicken sandwich in the market (Chickfila) is:
-Much bigger, thicker chicken with much better breading/crunch
-better bread
-double smear of the cajun spice sauce on both sides of the bun
-thicker pickles
-much better spice/flavor then Chickfila
That sounds like a recipe for the best chicken sandwich ever created and I want it!!

I thought it was really good. Wife is a huge Chick-fil-a fan and still thought Popeye's was better.

Re: Random Discussions
Anyone see the Amy Robach open mic from ABC regarding the Epstein shit. Just curious when she will commit suicide over her comments. What amazes me is how no major news networks is headlining this and getting her in air.

GeorgesGoons wrote:Everybody knows how to make a grilled cheese, right? You butter some bread, put it butter-side-down in a pan, top it with cheese, add another slice of buttered bread butter-side-up, grill away and flip. Easy and cheesy. So what would you say if we told you that method was totally wrong— or, at least, not as delicious as it could be?! You might scoff – we definitely did – but we learned pretty quickly from PureWow that there’s a far better spread we should be using: mayonnaise!
Yup, mayo, not butter, is the way to go! You only need a few teaspoons of it, but the results for your sandwich are huge: crisper, browner, and more flavorful. PureWow explains:
Mayo spreads better than butter does (crucial when you’re using a softer bread like brioche) and has a higher smoke point (meaning it won’t burn as easily). Plus, the oil and egg in mayonnaise brown nicely and add a creamy flavor to the crust.
Eating one now made with Mayo and damn, pleasantly surprised.

Forgot to mention that you are supposed to put the bread in the pan when the pan is cold and turn the heat to medium heat to slowly brown the bread.The_Niddler wrote:GeorgesGoons wrote:Everybody knows how to make a grilled cheese, right? It's a great easy lunch. Just wait for 3 more years when you can't find your teeth grandpa, you'd be begging for a grilled cheese. Or a Werther's Original.ajalves wrote:what are we 9 years old? who eats a grilled cheese anymore?

Can't knock something you don't try. I thought the same thing, I won't eat a grilled cheese now without it.
With that being said, I'd love to open up a Gourmet Grilled Cheese place near a college. Call it "Cheesin' For A Reason" and donate a portion of every sell to whatever these kids feel is important nowadays.
