Did you sit and cook it yourself at the table? That is the only way I'll eat my Korean food

Yup, brand new spot opened up in our area.
My best friend in middle school/high school was Korean and his mom made those short ribs with those tiny bones every single week and I'd eat a ton of them.
Last night it was choose 35 assorted meats, porks, chickens and good lord it was glorious.

Yep
Twitter is hilarious, it's filled with folks going off saying Trump getting this guy wasn't as big as Obama getting Bin Laden.
People lose their darn minds when it comes to politics, it's so weird.

Yep, they should all just agree this was a big deal. Just as big as getting Bin Laden, not bigger but no less either.
I was pretty sure I was watching a location in 2016 that he was at. Watched over 100 ISIS fighters go into the oldest christian church in Iraq. Watched a convoy of vehicles pull up and 1 guy was getting all the attention from everyone. By the time they got the okay to strike a historic building they all had left about 10 minutes before.

NDL NCAA was years ahead of its time:
A coach being suspending for running up the score isn't something that you see every day, but that's exactly what happened to Plainedge High School's Rob Shaver. The coach of the Nassau County, N.Y. school was suspended after his team beat previously undefeated South Side, 61-13, on Oct. 25, according to FOX 5 NY.
There is a county policy that states if a team wins by more than 42 points, they have to explain why the final score is so lopsided. Plainedge, which also came into the game without a loss, didn't exactly have an explanation.

Popeyes Chicken Sandwich Sunday!!!! Or not...
My boys and I went randomly yesterday and I saw it on the menu, so I asked and the girl said tomorrow. I asked if they'd have enough, blah blah blah, and she assured me no chance they'd run out. So we didn't eat there so we could come back today.
1230pm...looks like they're out.
Lines are crazy long which I figured so was ok to deal with. But there were quite a few people who said they ordered over an hour ago and hadn't gotten their food, the lines hadn't moved in forever, and no one had even come to the front counter in a long time.
I wouldn't mind waiting if I knew I would definitely get one but no sense in doing so if they're going to tell everyone they're out anyway.
I read somewhere that you can use mayonnaise instead of butter for a grilled cheese sandwich. I tried it and haven't gone back to butter since. Lather the mayo on thick and cook your grilled cheese on medium heat. Not sure if miracle whip works the same though.

I thought the same thing. But the crisp you get on your bread is unsurpassed

Everybody knows how to make a grilled cheese, right? You butter some bread, put it butter-side-down in a pan, top it with cheese, add another slice of buttered bread butter-side-up, grill away and flip. Easy and cheesy. So what would you say if we told you that method was totally wrong— or, at least, not as delicious as it could be?! You might scoff – we definitely did – but we learned pretty quickly from PureWow that there’s a far better spread we should be using: mayonnaise!
Yup, mayo, not butter, is the way to go! You only need a few teaspoons of it, but the results for your sandwich are huge: crisper, browner, and more flavorful. PureWow explains:
Mayo spreads better than butter does (crucial when you’re using a softer bread like brioche) and has a higher smoke point (meaning it won’t burn as easily). Plus, the oil and egg in mayonnaise brown nicely and add a creamy flavor to the crust.
