The :27 mark, she states if you died of alternates cause, clearly meaning if you died of something other than COVID.

Point of the video is trying to dispel the reasons for shutdown. Again, everyone wants to get back to normal. I am not an expert, I leave it to experts to figure this stuff out. There is no trustworthy source in my eyes anymore, so I will do what is expected of me in my current role. If this was not serious, I stated before, a whole world doesn't shut down. My hope is that we get to phase 4 before high school football, that's my wish, I can't live through another season without high school sports...

If you can't figure out the issue from that video and have to ask, that's... not good.

made sense to me. Haven't we been saying this at the beginning. I believe Shel pointed out the guy with stage 4 pancreatic cancer and in hospice but it was a COVID death.

I don't recall that one.
But again, it's important to point out that this is NOT about a person with stage 4 cancer, contracting COVID, then dying from complications of COVID.
To use your example, this would be a person has stage 4 cancer and a couple of weeks to live, the person tests positive for COVID, but then dies from something completely separate of COVID.
That's the important distinction, and in the case of the 2nd example, that public official goes on record as stating that it still counts as COVID even if the death has nothing to do with COVID.

Supposedly cases are going up here in Omaha, and the state of Nebraska as a whole. We just opened up salons, tattoo parlors, bar and grills with some guidelines. Friday night it was pretty busy up at the bar.

honestly, I'm done following all this. The opening of some businesses but not all businesses is BS. Small business has suffered from day one with this. I enjoy the "karen's" of the world who get all pissed off when you go into the store without a mask, all the while they are shopping for a new swimsuit. I'm done with it and ready to just move on.
I did learn that my best friends mother in law has been diagnosed and it probably won't be good for her. She has been struggling with her health for a while now.

Fauci testifying in the Senate right now on the virus response.
Trump has already had a nice tweet storm this morning in preparation so this may be entertaining watching it unfold.
Maybe not.

That's all you are going to see. Democrats trying to say the response was not fast enough, but forgetting that a lot of them were calling him a racist for closing flights from China down. It wouldn't matter what he did, democrats will find a way to twist it to him being a racist.

Rand Paul gives Dr Fauci the business saying you are not the End All because all the projections have been wrong so far.

Snoozefest.
Had it on in the background as I worked and nothing new really.
Media will spin that Fauci is going against what Trump says blah blah blah but he's said the same thing consistently.

I took it more of a knock on CNN and MSNBC hanging on every little word he says. Dr. Fauci has been overly cautious during this whole ordeal.
But Rand Paul started on him once he kept saying we need to be careful about opening up states again. And I believe rightfully so.
Here is my take:
Either we need to take this serious or we don't.
If the government wants to take this serious then close all big businesses like they have with small businesses. No more Home Depot/Lowes unless you have a contractors license or Tax ID number as a licensed business. No more clothing/non-food items at Target/Walmart to be sold. All fast food places closed outside of the interstate/highways and only open to truckers.
Everyone stays home or must work from home except real essential workers. Burger King is not essential fatty!
I bet we get back to normal pretty damn quick if big businesses were not making money.

We have half-assed the closure of this country from day one in help of flattening the curve. The only people that have benefited are big businesses. And the only people that pound the drum of staying home are the ones making money, whether from work or being able to stay at home and work. You will not find 2% of small business owners saying we need to stay home and keep their businesses closed.
