Just picture your lineup without Sanchez after you trade him to me (-;
Imagine how many homeruns he would hit in that tiny little park! :lol:

Was waiting for this comment from someone.

I dealt a player that has a $5M contract and will only go up next season for a player my scout actually thinks will be a tiny bit better than Boxy, a year younger than Boxy and will have a 480k contract for the next few seasons, and can play more positions than Boxy. I also gained $5M in cash to help pull me further out of debt. I'm not saying your offer was bad, but your guy was older and while a friendly contract, still a contract in the millions every season.

I've done a ton of moving this season and some of them were really great players, Boxy, Walker, etc. But I've got players that, again my scout, I believe are going to be just as good, are younger, and cost me much less.

He's just that nice of a guy in the Boxy/Walker deals.

He just gets a bad rap.

Sorry you're disappointed nick. I did say it was a friendly contract. There's a difference though in $5M/$4M/$4M/$3M/$2M and $480k x 4 years.

I just dont understand the process. You dealt a 76 potential Scott Wilson for Boxy, which is fine, then you turn and trade Boxy cause of his contract?

Boxy is about to retire after all these trades.

Poor JD....he deserves something after this.

I'll respond to this in a PM, not here on the boards.

Actually, scratch that. I don't need to respond with a PM. No he wasn't traded because of his contract. He was traded because I felt it worked out better for me long term. I had no intent on trading him when I got him, just the way it worked out. Had my reasons for trading Wilson as well. My team. Don't care if anyone else doesn't like the process.

If Reign or someone like Riccio made these deals, they'd get praise for how good they are, poor Seeit gets called names. :lol:

I agree. I think Boxy is a Franchise player. But that is just my opinion.

The bottom line is everyone is free to agree to whatever trades they want.

We have no idea what Pete is thinking or Dan or Corey, etc.
I know when I make trades, some people may think the same thing, but they don't see the big picture and what I am looking at or planning longer term for my team.

So everyone needs to stop getting butt hurt and just let it go.
I may not agree with it, in fact, I tried to talk Pete out of doing it, just by showing him what his current team has and how things look, as he asked me a few questions and I gave him my opinion, but in the end, it is his team and he is allowed to have fun with it and do what he sees fit with his team.
