Remember I told you this last night in COD? but i'll answer you in movie clips= Stripes= THATS A FACT JACK! Pulp Fiction = CORRECTIE MOON DOH!!! Forrest Gump== YES SIR DRILL SARGENT!jsence2 wrote:I've avoided the injury bug much of the season....now I lose a key infielder and outfielder, both of whom were my hottest hitters this month.
So if a guy wasn't on our 25 man roster at any point this season BEFORE the September callups, he can't be used in the playoffs, right?
I was thinking along these lines too. I'd need a vacation from my vacationshel311 wrote:10 days in Vegas, may as well be a death sentence.

He'd look good in a Sheltown uniform next season as our 4th starter or so.nick wrote:Richard Manning 9-2 in his last 13.. love this guy. Hopefully he can continue to improve

The amount of players is accurate.DRiccio21 wrote:caught me red-handed?trendon wrote:However, I caught your ass red-handed.![]()
did you think I was hiding this from people? I've told YOU about how I do this multiple times. when i'm in trade negotiations I always tell guys, go check out my short A team, I have guys like Jeff Shelton down there that could probably help your teams depth. the last thing i'm trying to do is hide or get an advantage on my short A team. come on dude. you think i'm trying to hang those banners in my Short A stadium? you think i'm thinking, hmmm if I can stunt trendon's 20-20 guys on his short A team i'm going to have an advantage going forward.
i'm more than fine having this conversation, because I think the leagues entire minor league structure is completely fucked up. from the amount of players, how development works, to how minor leaguers should retire a yr after not playing in the minors, etc.
anyways, I appreciate the fact you think you're having your 'aha... gotcha' moment. nice work private eye.
Recorded zero outs against the AAAA Connecticut Chokers and look what happens in his next start. Anyone have twelve 30-year-olds I can fill my low A team with?Donald Jacobs Out for 8 Months: The Brooklyn Nitros were informed today by team doctors that starting pitcher Donald Jacobs sustained a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament in a recent game against the Bonnie Lock-Woodsetter North Fortresses and will not play for 8 months. Jacobs was hurt throwing a pitch.
This season Jacobs has compiled a 9-10 record with a 4.06 ERA in 22 starts.
Im sure dave wansnt doing anything with malice intent, but on the flip side, I would be curious if there are any implications (to other teams)trendon wrote:The amount of players is accurate.DRiccio21 wrote:caught me red-handed?trendon wrote:However, I caught your ass red-handed.![]()

And, no, I caught you red-handed on the hypocrisy. This is worse than draft pick trading and non-five man rotations.
