Here's my prediction:
Texas A&M beats Mizzou tonight. South Carolina goes to SEC championship and knocks off Auburn. FSU beats Duke, obviously. Ohio State loses to Michigan State.
National Championship...Alabama and Florida State.

Bet Saban wishes he didn't try to get that second back on clock. And agree with Bama 57 yrd was a long shot at best.

What a dumb call by Kevin Sumlin to punt down 7 with 2 minutes left and 2 timeouts.

AnM competed in the SEC? 4-4 is highly competetive!

I congratulated Judd and spydie as that has to be an awesome feeling going through those emotions and come out with such a win that will be talked about for years.
Congrats aubie fans.
Lots of moving parts still for the championship game from Winston being charged still to the winner of the sec champ game possibly being above OSU.
What a day of games.

It certainly was. I got to see the entire Michigan game and like I ve said all season Ohio States defense is there crutch. I mean 600yds to a Michigan team that had an injuried QB.
Next weekend you will get to see a top 5 defense in Michigan State. How it will play out who knows. Ohio state seems to struggle against the sprea type teams.
As for the auburn Bama game. Feel bad for Bama fans and joy for our auburn fans. What a game of emotions. Had bama slicker been good on the 3 previous this is a no contest.
I will say this I told the family if Michigan drove down the field and score home would go for two. Love the play call too. after the score I said watch for the pass wide side. I guess after running the same variation of a play Ohio states defenders finally realized. Haha.
I'll be traveling for the b10 champ game.

No salt in the wound Au. Be happy they weren't sound cause now you get to make a post.
It should have said "what an ending to a great game. And yes we were lucky again to come away with a win" but that's me I'm pretty humble win or lose.

Told my dad the same thing. Saw it coming that they would go for 2 and I would have done the same most likely. They were 7-4 on the season so it really doesn't impact their season as they are still bowl eligible.

I like the decision to go for two, but i didnt like the play call. Shouldve called something that he could have made a play running or passing

I never like the decision to go for 2 and the win in these spots.
Isn't the success rate on these like 35% or something? If you go to OT at 42-42, the odds of you winning are better than 35%.

2010: 40.0%
2011: 43.5%
1 point success
2007: 96.4%
2008: 96.4%
2009: 95.8%
2010: 96.4%
2011: 96.2%

Then someone with the Vegas odds can figure this out based on what bookmakers though. But it wasn't a 50-50 split going into OT. If they played 10 times, youd expect OSU to win at least 6 of the games. Meaning Michigan had something like a 40% chance to win. NCAA shows that they had a slightly above 40% chance to make the 2 pt conversion so it was the right call
Yes, I pulled the first numbers out of nowhere but you get my point.

Lets here from the Alabama medical statistics on how many heart attacks occurred during the last 2 weekends in Auburn on how their games finished.

I do get your point but completely disagree on the 60% thing. Sure OSU is the better team so you can give them a very slight advantage.
But they just played 4 even quarters and an OT is a complete crapshoot so IMO it would be pretty darn close to 50/50, and given the numbers you gave, I have to think going for 2 decreases your chances of winning.
