Pretty sure I never had a strategy that terrible, trade possibly the best player in the league, but don't get max value intentionally.

do you not remember trading Nolan Gibbons for essentially nothing? probably one of the most elite 3Bs in the league? He only won the MVP the year you dealt him.

he got plenty. Wehn your team stinks (like his did at the time) you trade quality for quantitiy. If you're smart at least
