Bynum to Cavs.

pretty impressive change in their roster

Guards -- Kyrie, J. Jack, D. Waiters
Forwards -- Gee, E. Clark, T. Thompson, Zeller, A. Bennett, Karasev
C -- Varejao, Bynum

I would guess Bennett and Karasev play limited minutes given the roster. They could really use a shooter/wing defender but if Kyrie/Bynum are healthy it should be interesting in Cle.

My prediction: Bynum plays less than 41 games. Isn't all that effective, and ends up being a waste of money.

Hopefully I'm wrong, as it could be a fun year. Just not all that psyched about him. Would rather have Andy and Zeller just go in there and be unathletic and (mostly) white and just try to scrap their ways around.

if he plays less than 41 games they will pay him very little. its an incentive based contract. I think he's only guaranteed 6 mil.

I want their owner to trade for every Russian in the league, change their colors to red and yellow, their name to CSKA Jersey, and play the Russian national anthem before every game. They could even have Nikolai Volkov as a mascot.

A big ass sickle would be a sweet mascot.

Ron Artest a Knick. Could have just drafted him in 1999 instead of Frédéric Weis, but that's James Dolan for you.

D.J. Augustin has reached agreement on a one-year deal with the Toronto Raptors, league sources tell Y! Sports.

Raps sign Hansborough and Augustin. For the casual fan, any info on these guys?

The Indiana Pacers have bolstered their front-line depth with the acquisition of Luis Scola from the Phoenix Suns.

The Pacers sent forward Gerald Green, center Miles Plumlee and a lottery-protected first-round draft pick to the rebuilding Suns.

Brandon Jennings to Pistons for Brandon Knight, Kris Middleton and Slava Kvatsov

probably a nice deal for both teams.

Pistons are going to be fun to watch but they are going to have some UGLY games with Josh Smith and Brandon Jennings being high volume, low % guys.
Pistons are running out a lineup of :

pg Jennings
sg Stuckey
sf Josh Smith
pf Monroe
c Drummond

that's young and fun. if Jennings can do a little less shooting and more alley oop tossing to Smith and Drummond they'll be fun to watch

Oden to sign with Miami.

Who knew Oden would get a ring before Melo, Durant, and Dwight?

JR Smith's new ride

Image
Smith, who’s recovering after surgery on his left knee in the off-season, rolled up to Meatpacking District restaurant Catch on Thursday night in a Gurkha F5, which is made by Toronto-based Terradyne Armored Vehicles and used by police and the military. Smith parked the oversize truck, worth about $450,000, on the street while he dined inside.
