Tonight is Chipper Jones Night. Really wish I could be there. First ballot HOF and the player I grew up watching. Braves will not ever feel the same for me, watching them without him standing at third base.

Case can be made for the greatest switch-hitter ever as well.

they used him out of the bullpen once when it was really terrible, but i think they had such a bad start to the 2H that they didn't follow through with the plan. I think with off days in between they would skip some of the other starters to keep him on normal rest, but i wonder if that hurt the rotation (hard to know)

Dave, I am probably one of the bigger baseball fans in the NDL and even I didnt really pay attention until like 2 weeks ago because thats one of those things that never happens in a lifetime but was awesome to see him pull it out.

If the Sox are out of it, I rarely pay much more attention to the sport as I used to.
