I remember being in crappy leagues before the SCFL with Carnell and Spydie. Then came in the NDL in season 4, due to multiple moves and life i had to miss a few seasons.

Does anybody know the guys who had the SCFL before Carnell and Spydie took it over...it's slipping my mind for some reason

And think, five plus years and I don't even like any of you buffoons.

LOL... THAT LEAGUE WAS THE SHIT!!.... we made that league when i was like, 14, and nick was like 17. i left that league after those guys took it over and stopped playing all together for a year or 2, then came back and actually played legit... i was such a lob cheeser back then lmao

That was a pretty funny situation back in the day.......man we have been at this a while

Braylon Edwards was a hoss, and the lob was money back then. once i got into more leagues i started to play more sim.

I remember going 12-0 with WVU my very 1st season in the NNBL, 1st online league ever. I'd throw a play action streak to Chris Henry about 4 or 5 times per game that was money. I had no clue what I was doing and didn't realize my cheesy ways.

I was gonna try to fix it, but there's so many quotes, it just gave me a headache, lol.

the SCFL had me blacklisted from this league for so fuckin long

Bearass, VTRunNGun, EASportsBama, Spydie, Carnell, Me, Hart, Whit, Doc

all in the SCFL. im sure others were.

I remember when the NDL came out and everyone thought it would be like every other league but it lasted.

There are a lot of differences between the NDL and every other league that failed. One of the main things that got the NDL going was the message board.

There have always been a lot of personalities in the NDL and the board has always rocked. That allowed to the NDL to establish a community right off the go. That community kept the NDL going as most leagues failed. People felt like they were part of something special.

I came in season 4. I was friends with this guy who helped bigry run his college bball league, and through that joined the csfl. My first ever game was vs champ and i remember i got reamed for being cheesy, but i had never played anyhtinb but lobby so i had alot to learn. somehow i got invited to socom by hoos and for a 3 month timespan i played with them guys everynight and it was the funnest gaming experience ive had. Seeit, hoos, deedub, jeff, nole, mike, daddy, carnell, ray, seeits glitcher friend aubie, the list goes on. man those were good days, socom is the only reason im in the ndl

Real cool thread people, lots of fun to hear all the stories for sure. I got into leagues all the way back on NCAA 04 playing in LytezOut, run by LytezOut of course and shorty after that I came across the INCAA were I met some of you guys. Had a heck of a run with Kansas State in the INCAA taking them over in mid season winning out with them capped by a bowl win over Florida. Have to love that combo of Ell Mcpherson I think it was, and Sproles were just fire. Then it was both Jeff and uthater (fattmatt) who hit me up about the NDL and I came over and had my pick of teams, still not sure why I picked North Texas lol. But I have been here ever since having to make some pretty big deals with the wife over the years to make sure she still knows and believes she is more important to me than this league. It has been sweet to have been here this long and man I really hope I can find a way to get to one of these get-togethers in the future so I can meet some of you guys in person.

Ell Roberson and Darren Sproles... Trust me, I played with them online constantly lol. So shameful

Thats right, that team was great. Had a good tall WR also I believe.

That was like NCAA 04 and I think I used to set my favorite team as Kentucky so when the opponent would ready up as some shit school, I would quickly switch to Kansas State and they couldn't do anything about it

Now you'll notice if you change teams it automatically takes you off ready

Man reading through this brings back some funny memories.....and some pretty bad memories for me as well...haha.

I was an original member of the NDL when I randomly asked FattMatt if I could join and he randomly said sure if you don't mind using EMU. I loved the thought of a full 117 team league and jumped at the chance.

I was in this bad boy for 6 seasons and although my game play was never suspect.....my actions on the boards...were insane. I always wanted some kind of image to everyone think I was some kind of great athlete or had a good mind for sports and just lied about my personal life over and over instead of just being myself. I would honestly never want to read one of my posts back in the day because I would most likely be flat out embarassed. I mean who posts a picture of some other dude running the 100 meters who isn't you, its pretty twisted truthfully. I'll never forget getting a text from Jeffdaddy saying "Hey uhhh theres some wierd shit getting talked about you not being that guy in the photo you posted." I knew then i was toast.

I then was in a game against Bud1Vol1 and as many of us know....was prob one of, if not, the cheesiest owner the NDL has ever seen who had not been thrown out. I'll never forget in our bowl game when I was 12-0 with UTEP he faked a punt up 35-0 with about 2 minutes left in the game. I was so mad I quit the game. Well once you quit your gone. I am such a fool that I would have had USC the next season.....

Then I moved away to college, sold my PS2 and never really thought about playing NCAA anymore. When I moved back home from school though I would get bored sometimes at night and went out and bought a PS3 and a used copy of 09. I figured I would apply to the NDL knowing full on that I would never make it back in here but, I may as well just give it a shot. Well some things have changed and now have no problems just being me and love playing in this league and being a part of the message boards. Well here I am again 3 years later and man how time flew by.

Just a few quick memories from way back when........Playing SOCOM and listening to Ray absolutely clown people left and right on the headset.....partying with Jeffdaddy in long beach and dancing with some huge latin chick. Being the Only B team to ever make it to a title game only to get my sorry ass kicked by SSI776....god remember how good NC St's Defense was with both those DE's? Smeth telling us on the boards he wasn't sure if he was gay or not was very akward. O and yes Dave Riccio that game against you with Kansas vs Mizzou will still go down in history as the best NDL game I have ever been a part of. You were this new member who I thought I was gonna shat all over and you completely out played me......only for me to get lucky as hell on a post over the middle where my huge WR catches the ball in triple coverage. Ahhhh the memories...god I love the NDL.
