If anyone in your household receives free lunches at school you can get broadband internet for free, the government will reimburse the company up to $50.

I need to learn how to search for crap in these bills

It's completely disgusting, but 100% expected because citizens refuse to do anything about it, we just keep allowing them to do stuff like this.

I was just about to come in and say this. Nancy Pelosi added in abortion crap last week. I'm sure the Republicans are adding something stupid as well. If Americans don't see this and start voting out these people then this will continue till our dying breath.

I vote against the incumbent 90% of the time in the primaries if they have 2 terms under their belt.
Nothing specificly related to abortion was ever added by pelosi. Just isn't true from the articles I've seen. In a effort to provide funding for labs to be paid for testing somehow Republicans twisted into something about abortions.
Could be seen as a loophole. Joy Reid thought so from MSNBC
"Wow... @kasie just reported that Republicans' objections to the House Democrats' emergency coronavirus bill include issues related to abortion. What does that have to do with COVID19...?" Reid asked.
The Daily Caller reported on Thursday that Pelosi sought funding as what was described as a "loophole" around the Hyde Amendment, which outlaws taxpayer-funded abortions, among other things included in the bill.

"One was a mandate for up to $1 billion to reimburse laboratory claims, which White House officials say would set a precedent of health spending without protections outlined in the Hyde Amendment," Daily Caller senior White House correspondent Christian Datoc reported.

The Pelosi abortion stuff was debunked. There was no funding tied to abortion in the bill.

https://www.politifact.com/factchecks/2 ... n-funding/

The reality of objections is that the Republicans want their bill so they'll find any reason to reject the Democrat bill. They look for semantics that they can then latch headline grabbing things on to in order to stir up public outcry against the other side. Both sides do this, so it's best to never believe anything they say about each other.

Yeps, Dems are saying the republicans bill helps big business more than the little guy, and Republicans are saying that Dems are trying to add a bunch of non-COVID related items to the bill.

And they'll just keep bickering because that's all they do, not actually accomplishing much, or certainly not in a timely fashion.

atually something i know a lot about! they couldn't fly under the us flag b/c they would then have to have an all US crew. we literally dont have enough seamen to do that and US seamen make to much in general they only work on ships that have very specific routes involving the jones act and any vessel that stays in the US more than 29 days. By law a foreign flag vessel cannot spend more than 30 days inside the US working.

Liberia, Marshall Islands, and Panama flagged ships are basically US flags as they are run my US corporations.

Smithsonian would get $7.5M for cleaning, security, information technology and staff overtime to help prevent COVID19.

That is a ridiculous amount. They could use something like Vital Oxide to disinfect. Could be applied with an electrostatic sprayer.
EPA registered hospital disinfectant cleaner

Proven to kill a wide range of viruses and bacteria, won’t contribute to the formation of mutating “super bugs,” and does not contain volatile organic compounds (VOCs).

I saw a video from a wet market over the weekend. Despicable, very hard to watch. Had no idea this shit existed, but after watching, its easy to see how shit gets transferred across species.

A quick swine flu Google search says it started in Mexico. So I'd assume the rest of the graphic is about as accurate lol.

Just hiding the giant figure
That chart just scream bogus since H1N1 started in the US/Mexico and Spanish Flu was undetermined origin but is most often cited as started in Kansas.

Man, I'm behind the reply curve today...
