Mildly interesting to someone that doesn't watch a lot of basketball.

The Browns hired a defensive coordinator today... The same guy they hired as a defensive coordinator in January of 2013... And fired a year later.

They only fired him because the new coach didn't want him.
Corey gets hired as HC, hires you as DC. Corey gets fired, and they hire Trendon. Trendon is gonna bring in his own DC, so you're gone.
Doesn't mean when AJ gets hired 2 years later he won't call you up and hire you as DC... (Unless you insist on bringing browner)

Steph Curry might be having the most ridiculous season of all time.
to have a true shooting % as high as his and have the usage rate he has is other worldly

His shot chart is a thing of beauty:
437 3 point attempts
171 attempts at the rim
92 attempts from 3 feet to inside the 3 point line
That's absurd, talk about maximizing efficiency. On his 19 shots per game, that roughly equates to 17 of them are 3s are layups, and 2 shots per game at everything else.

its basically like someone taught him all the stat dork cheat codes of basketball efficiency and then he went out and became unstoppable at them

He's so much fun to watch. Pretty sure I haven't enjoyed anyone dominate like this. MJ and Kobe - it was expected. This guy built himself up out of nowhere. Never hurts to have the genes and the cash to make it happen, but even with all that it isn't guaranteed unless you have the drive.

Yep. I will say though, while JJ obviously sold it with a solid acting job, I did see a screenshot of right as he is literally starting his shot the 1st defender has a hold of his jersey. You can kinda see it on the 1st part of the gif.

These types of reports are obviously irrelevant right now, but still fun to think about...Woj is reporting that the Warriors are the significant frontrunners to sign Durant in the offseason.

Curry had 51 on 19 of 28 from the field, including 11 of 16 from 3.
Wall had 41 and 10 on 17 of 25 shooting.
Oladipo had 37 points on 13 of 19 shooting.
Westbrook had 24, 19, and 14.
Not a bad night.

I could only imagine that Curry's rating in NBA live is something like 148 out of a possible 100 scale for shooting. Guy is ridiculous!

It's been a superstar league since the 80's.
