When I see tourneys/contests that are $50 to enter, they are paying out the 13 spots, with the 3rd getting $90....
What happens if only 3 people sign up?
It says the size is 10, but there are currently only 2 entries.

Just wondering, if I see something like this at 7:52 PM and throw a team together and hop in as the 3rd, what happens with the payouts?

And I created my DraftKings account and deposited $25, what do I need to do to get the free Basketball Monsters account?
I setup an account on BM, but still says I don't have a membership.

Last question for now, Reign stated something about playing in the daily free items, why?
If there is no payout, what is the benefit/purpose?

I know I had trouble doing it, but google "draft kings basketball monster", and there's a step by step instruction out there. On BM, if you go to your account access, you'll know you did it correctly when it says something to the effect of having full membership access.

- College basketball works the same way... but projections are much less reliable. At one point, I was rated the top CBB in the US (for about 2 weeks). You'd think I was nuts, but I built my own projections by hand and applied the same logic.

- GPPs (Guaranteed Prize Pools) are just that... guaranteed. If the tournament doesn't fill, it still runs with the same payouts, hence, guaranteed. If you follow the sites on twitter or frequent Rotogrinders.com (which I recommend), you'll see them talking about overlays. These are GPPs that don't look like they will fill up. Quick story, when DraftKings launched they were funded by a massive venture. They were throwing around money left and right in GPPs. During their first month it was estimated that they had over $500k in overlays. Needless to say, I got a nice chunk of change from them. I played on DK for the first 2 months it existed, then left.

- If you're in a game that doesn't fill up and it's not guaranteed, your entry will just be refunded.

Generally speaking, if you screw up something on a site, contact their customer support immediately. Every site I've ever used has bent over backwards to take care of issues.

You don't like free things?

Playing for points is kind of useless, but you can generate enough to get some $2-$5 vouchers pretty quickly.

Freerolls are just free money, so if you see a free entry game that has any cash payout, why not put money into it?

I agree completely if it has a payout and is free to get in, my question was around the free ones that have no payout.

Yep, I must have forgotten I actually created 2 accounts on Draft Kings when I had initial troubles getting the free BM. I didn't even realize my $20 was on an account I was using lol.

My entire DK account was eventually suspended, but I emailed them, and 1-2 emails later and about an hour, they had consolidated me back to 1 account with the $20 in it, very efficient.

I just emailed them because there are 2 offers out there that state if you create a draft kings account and deposit $20, you should get free membership to Basketball Monster, but also another offer that states for Baseball Monster.

Will see what they say. I deposited $25, so should not be an issue.

They replied to me almost immediately stating that Basketball Monsters has 24-48 hours to set me up and if not, then let Draft Kings know and they will follow up at that time.

Practice. As opposed to mocking lineups in Excel, you put them into the site to track them.

Fan Duel.

Read the bonus info nick. The release is quite slow. It typically releases slower than the rake on the games.

It's not last minute, but:
@JeffZillgitt
No Belinelli (mild groin strain), Duncan (rest), Ginobili (rest), Mills (right shoulder) or Splitter (tightness right calf) v. HOU today.

Just seems like a crapshoot if you do an H2H cause you don't know which guys do or don't pay attention to this stuff.

Does this news increase the need to try out a GPP or 50/50 by chance?

Also, Patrick Beverly was just scratched, Isiaiah Cannan's Ratio shot up to 75 as he'll get the start. Still staying away on FD though, taking the night off, gonna mess around with free stuff on FD and DK.
