Nole... you might have company. In an odd twist, this weekend works out pretty well for my wife and I to take a vacation. I vaguely mentioned this 'thing some guys were doing in LV' and her response was pretty much "as long as their is sun and a pool for me, I don't care what you do." I need to check the weather/see which hotels have the pools still open... if this is even remotely feasible, I'm going to push for it. If nothing else, I'll at least get the day at the sportsbook with everyone.

Nole is happy that couples dinner wont consist of him and his woman and me and Joe as my date.

Hmmm, had lunch with my wife a little while ago, she thinks I should go alone. She says it makes up for her 'girls trip' that she's taking to Siesta Key/Tampa over Labor Day weekend. (I was calling that one even for hosting 3 fantasy football drafts while she was out of town.... sounds like potential for a double-win for me!)

So I did some quick reading on this... most guys are coming inThu? Everyone plans on going out to clubs on Fri? Sportsbook all day Sat. Guys leaving Sat night / Sun afternoon? I'm trying to get a feel for how things are setup before I get too in depth on looking at the prices/flights. Is the cost on the group hotel thing $50 per night per person? How is that working out with guys leaving on different days?

Awesome to hear that you may be going. I had no idea you were thinking about it.

I get in Thursday and leave on Monday. So I am there for 4 nights.

Here is my breakdown:
Say for Bally's for 4 nights the total is $600 total for 4 nights.
This is hypothetical, I do not know what the true price is for the rooms he has booked.

That would break down to $150 per person total for the 4 nights or $37.50 per night per person.


I say for people staying 2 or three nights, we charge them $50 per person per night.

So let's say that 2 people stay for 2 nights in a hotel room and then leave...that would be $200 total if each person pays $50 per night.
So that leaves $400 left for the room.
If I would then pay $200 for 4 nights and Stan pays $200, that totals the $600 for the room and it breaks down to each person paying $50 per night.


$50 per night is a damn good price.
That is cheap.

Reign, worry about what flight you want as guys will be there as early as Thursday morning (Stan and Niddler) and as late as Sunday late night (me).

The room will work itself out and the most you will probably pay for your entire room stay is $150.

Just get there, its going to be ridiculous as more guys are confirming.

Ok. I really had no intentions of going, always thought it would be cool, then this is all just kind of falling in place as an option, so I figured I'd ask some questions. I was curious on the pricing, because I can book flight/hotel combo and stay at Tuscany, which is a block behind Bally's and apparently has some huge freakin' rooms, for about $50 per night, or at least I think that's what I saw.

I say fuck the couples dinner and make it an open dinner Shit she might end up liking most of the guys and there is no problem having her tag along. Besides chicks make the best wing man if she is down with partying with the ndl westcoast. When corey brought cathy that one year it ended up working out because she was down with the fellas. She was sweet,nice, a great sense of humor and loads of fun.

Will do my best to try and come out at least once, but can't promise anything, I have soccer games Friday, Saturday, and late Sunday afternoon to host, plus, baby #3 is due 2 weeks before, so depends on how much help at the house the wife has.

I am with Stan, I have no problem with wives or GF's being around.
It doesn't change me and how I am.

wife is going to be going with me.i mentioned to nole about a lunch friday instead of the dinner for friday. lunch is much less stressful and like i told nole,there are football/baseball games starting at 4pm pst, and i will be in book with my bottle of remy martin getting boozed up for the night, and cashing tickets.

my wife is cool and can hang in regards to drinking with anybody(ask stan), so she might be down to go out with us, but i think she will say ,go have fun,just leave me gambling money

reign in regards to pools open, the pools are open still and if she gives you a free pass, go to vegas and hang out with the ndl brothers. it will be a blast

Yeah, I called Tuscany earlier, pool is open year round, heated, and secluded. Even though it's off of the Strip, it's actually located on Flamingo, a block or so behind Ballys, so it's a shorter walk than most other hotels on the Strip. It's a work in progress, on short notice and we have some appts to juggle... it might be a week or so before I really know anything. Kind of cool that it's even an option for me though. If we go, we'll be down for that lunch/dinner... and she'd actually go out to the bars too. I don't drink, she's the drinker, lol.

This was very proper, Ill tell her you love her. You will have to fight Trendon for her.

She did help open up the dance floor and bring in those cougars even more to you and Feisty.

Bring the wife, the girlfriend, who cares. Its gonna be "couple time" and plenty of fellas time as well. The more the merrier, who cares.

I am just going to enjoy riding solo in Vegas for the first time since my bachelor party and enjoy the NDL time.
