I see what you did there! :D

My first impression is that the graphics are a little worse than last year. Everything looks good, but just not as good as last year to me.

I do like the tackling system, it does seem a lot better and zone does play better this year.
And I do like what Matt stated about the animations being able to be stopped.
But I really do like that the defense seems to be a little smarter and reacts to plays much better.

The game seems much harder to me on AA this year though.

Do you guys play with auto sprint? I find the defensive controls are very unresponsive. But that could be the beginning week lag, any of you feel this way? I am just not getting the feeling I can control the defense to make tackles. And it seems like you are waiting for people to move, granted, the Cougars are a C+ team and not very much speed, so that could answer a lot of it.

I am finding passing rather hard, on AA even. Perhaps at least one season of lots of ints, also I predict 5+ 2,000 ydr rushers in the 1st season. Downside has been the servers, had stuff freeze twice on me today, and was only able to finish 1 of 5 games.

All of this, exactly.

Auto sprint. I figured just turn it off, only way I've played. Anyone try both?

Yeah something feels off with the defense to me too. I feel like when I strafe now it almost cuts my players speed in half. I know they should slow down some but it seems really drastic.

I have yet to even see a 3rd quarter in this game, AND I was off Monday night and Tuesday night.

Woe is me.

Same here. I think I'm actually going to have to attempt to run more than 8 times a game this year. Outs were my money route last year. Now if you don't time it perfectly the DB's undercut it and deflect or even pick it occasionally.

Would the constant dropped connections in games just be an overloaded server because the game is new and lots of people are on it or is this going to be a constant issue?

Yeah this shit is ridiculous.

I am really not experiencing a lot of the issues being talked about here.

I've used a custom playbook every single game I've played and have had no issues and I've never had a game drop either. I do, however, experience a little one/two second freeze once the play screen pops up very frequently.

Mike and I were playing before I posted and on my end it was smooth for the first three drives between us. On the fourth drive I had the ball at the start of the second quarter and it started getting laggy or pausing after every couple of plays until finally as I was coming to the line it just lost connection. There wasn't a lag or anything like that though when it disconnected. It seemed to be running fine and then boom it was gone.

I've played one complete game. Every other game has dropped in the second or third quarter.

Yeah when playing everything is smooth and then out of no where it will just say connection lost. I haven't changed anything set-up wise since NCAA 11 and have had no problems with other on-line games. It seems to be happening frequently though as other people have brought up the same issue on other forums.

I have that skate feeling on D as well but I was used to that last season to.

On PS2, the D was so fluid it was amazing. Since PS3 it seems very "icy"

Is this due to auto sprint or any of the strafing controls?
