And VVV, I have used online sportsbooks before but then a law passed back when Bush was still around and I could no longer deposit money. I don't know if that has changed but I just stopped at that point and never looked back into it. As far as I know right now you have to set up an off-shore bank account to bet online.

Maybe the laws changed again, I'll look into it again I guess. Like I said this was during the Bush adminstration.

You are correct dave, bad choice of words on my part. i dont bet big at all, all for action like you said above.

One I like and might put small a wager on tomorrow morning: Ohio +30.5 - I find it hard to think the Sweatervest will run it up on an in-state school... and I think Solich keeps it closer anyway.

I really wanted to get on one-side of the Ark @ Ga game or Ga Tech @ UNC... but I didn't feel strongly about either of them. Georgia is very up/down right now and Ark hasn't played any legit competition. They could come out and explode or just fold over playing away against better competition. Tech is coming off a nasty loss, so they are going to be focused and ready. But UNC is at home, with a chip on their shoulder... and 2 weeks to prepare for the option. The last time that happened, UNC smoked them.

BTW... unless something crazy happens, I don't see how I can't go heavy on Washington State @ SMU. (+23) I'm going to try to convince myself otherwise while I'm working tomorrow... pretty much just repeating "hey stupid, it's Washington State!" But even then, it'll be hard to pass up 23 points against a CUSA school that they beat in OT last year.

LoL.. I know... but it's 23... and it's just SMU. Such a sucker play... and I'm the sucker right now. Still haven't gotten down on it.

How's this for luck. Meant to take Cal last night. Gave them the wrong # and didn't check it until afterwards, so ended up with $100 on Southern Miss instead.
