Damn, my trash talking of series domination of Port Orange will now come to an end after getting swept. It was fun while it lasted.

Complaining about injuries is not worth the key strokes you waste.

It happens to everyone and badly too.

The timing is when it kicks your ass. I havent had it the last 2 seasons so I was due for it this year and 7 of 9 starters in my lineup have been out 8 weeks or more at least once this year.

Hopefully next year they miss me.

Yup, injuries happen to everyone. I ad a point this season where I only had 1 player in my ML,AAA,AA rosters that could play 2B or SS at all. Ended up using a 3B with no rating at 2B for a sim and then had to make a quick trade to grab someone who had defense to help out my depth. I lost something like 5 guys who played middle infield in 1 sim.

one thing that has help a tiny bit with injuries is making sure my starters get a day off every week/week and a half

they get injured easier when they are tired for sure

I run a 6 man rotation, give every starter on my team a day off every week. Still get them but not at the rate of the previous years.

I thought you wanted guys to play over 150 games.

I have all my backups to start if the starter is tired, and have never had major injury issues.

Well, I can shoot down that theory.....Vickers, who is now out for 11-12 months, pitched the following days leading up to injury

8-20-he then had 6 full days off and pitched 8-27, followed by five full days off and then he pitched on 9-2 and boom, Vickers is toast.

Now, I agree the rest theory is applicable but in this case, he was rested, this is just part of the game....

good days coming up for Toronto. 2 stud OF's should be coming up at some point next year. hopefully service from 3B Mike Crane. Devlin is probably destined for the Bullpen, but suffering with these horrid players for 1 yr to let my youth develop will hopefully help. top 10 pick too. money for FA's if i want

Jose Costello was injured for like 6 weeks. Came off the DL and I had him in a rehab assignment and then boom, another 2 weeks...ugh...

3-4 sim for Washington, but gained 3 games on Carolina for the final wild card due to them going 0-7 on the sim. Thanks Hartford and Port Orange.

5-2 sim for Port Orange.

Swept Carolina and split with texas. all 7 games on the road

moves our record to 90-54; 7.5 up on Carolina

Got 3 with Louisville and 3 with Miami Sunday night

fun fact

Hartford has a better post AS break record than LOLCats and hartford is on another 12 game win streak. pretty sure he just ended like a 14 game win streak

sheesh

if you click League Leaders on the game, then AL.

there are 18 categories displayed on the main page. Jamie Cruz is LEADING 14 of those categories and like 3rd in one of the other 4

if he isnt unanimous MVP its because Seeit is blowing Gibbons
