do rehab starts really work? never done them
I know that rust is a real thing in this game. ST helps get rid of it. I assume after a monster injury, rust would be there again. But after 20 innings or so, it is gone. I guess if your rotation isn't that good, it wouldn't hurt just putting him in.

That explains Boston's failures in the post season and having these byes and not playing for like 2 weeks after the regular season ends!!

ETA: SP Manny Leyva is in the mix too, also on pace for 4.8 WAR
Munoz has won the last 2 rookie of the month awards and is catching fire in in May and June. Keep it up rook!!

His and Booth's month by month progression is eerily similar.

Booth has been on fire and is a doubles machine and playing a gold glove type caliber CF.

Munoz has cut his Ks down a tad and having the big power as expected. The big surprise is he is playing an awesome RF with just ok ratings.

Life's great mysteries!!!

Sheltown's pythag is now down to -5. Fun!!!
That lineup in Omaha....yuck!
Just need to be good enough to give the pitchers a chance. 3rd in average and middle of the road everywhere else. The key to this lineup is not to strikeout.

Lawrence Hernandez is the unheard of hero here. On pace for 40+ doubles, 10 triples and 20+ HRs.

His lineup has basically matched mine in runs this season. His 2nd half fall from grace will be epic!!! :)

I'm in a dangerous spot, 4.5 games back of the final wildcard spot. About 2-3 weeks away from finally having my lineup healthy, but if I get any further back, it may not matter at that point.
No second half collapse coming. The Beef will keep chugging along and will go where the lineup takes them. If we can make the playoffs the starting 3 will keep them in every game. Still deciding if I need to pick up a big bat or not.

I'll be happy with 8-7 in those games. Expect to be 10-5 though.

I wish I could beat Toronto though. We are 1-8 against them so far

Omaha's July:

2 vs TOR
7 vs SHL
3 vs DIL
4 vs BOS
3 vs WF
3 vs PHI
4 vs SEA

Will be a huge month for the AL wildcard race.

Not worried about the Boston series. We have their number for some reason

He has really hit his stride with this lineup around him in Boston and an insane 1.114OPS and 210OPS+

It seems like the guy he was traded for is ready to demolish MLB pitching for years to come as well as Brooks keeps getting better in Cookeville.

Trying to keep him in AAA and resist the urge to call up this season.

Got a little nervous about him earlier when his numbers took a hit by my scout but they've come back up fairly well now.

I need to find the right piece. I need a true base stealer that can get on base
