i would think they move Kinsler first, but he just signed a big deal
i heard on a discussion. as good as Andrus is, the moment you move him hes negative value in that other position. Best thing to do is move him to a team that needs a SS for something else.

the ONLY reason elvis is coming up in trade rumors is cause he has Boras for an agent. He's gonna want to get PAID big time but the Rangers dont have to move elvis. He's still under contract for 2013 and 2014. Profar has played alot of 2B this year in the minors and Kinsler has already agreed to move to LF if that is something that helps the team. I highly doubt they trade him this offseason. If they do it'd most likely be for justin upton which IMO would be a HUGE mistake. Andrus plays the game hard, he's a great clubhouse guy, and he plays a prime position at SS. Upton is known to be difficult to coach and not exactly a "team" first kind of guy that plays LF. sooooo yeah I think JD is smarter than that. At least I hope

RF but yeah there's gotta be some reason the DBacks were floating him out there at the deadline
Does Kinsler have an arm for LF? I don't think many 2B do, and I think he's an all-or-nothing hitter which isn't at all what I want leading off. Definitely agree that SS is not a strong position and having a good one is huge, but Hamilton may be on the move so that could mean two open positions unless they want to commit to David Murphy (doubt it)

Murphy has shown this year that he can play vs RH and LH so i wouldn't have an issue with him in the OF full time ecspecially if you're getting power from moreland/olt/cruz/beltre/kinsler etc. then there's no issue having a guy like murph who will play solid D and have an OPS around .750-.800 range normally. This year he's at .890 so while i doubt he could sustain that I'll take his usual production. As far as OF for Kins his bad arm would be more hidden in LF than it would be in RF. Thats why you see guys like bonds/manny etc in LF late in their career.

big homefield and a division with a lot of room in left (besides the juice box with the [Carl] Crawford Boxes), so if I'm the other team I'd love seeing Kinsler in LF because I'd run on him all day long.
I just doubt they commit to having Murphy be an everyday player out there because they were platooning him earlier this year and he's not young (30). I do agree he can hit lefties
