Boston reporter: "Hello, I'm from the Globe."
Kyrie: "Excuse me?"

Maybe true Shel. I see your point. Probably is my bias. I feel like Boston was the right place, right time kind of situation. They needed buckets and he could get buckets.

I am not a fan of this trade, especially giving up the draft pick.

Any trade in which a team gets a chance to draft Marvin Bagley is a win for that team.

i don't think anyone has thought it was good for Boston.
the only rationalization i can come up with is they knew they weren't resigning IT so essentially he walks for nothing after year if they can't get him resigned for less than a max. they probably offered the same deal with out the inclusion of the pick and Cleveland called their bluff and assumed IT wasn't being resigned and they knew he had little leverage after that. So Boston gets stuck deciding if they want to resign IT, keep the pick or get a younger Kyrie and get some value back for IT.
the deal is fair without the inclusion of the pick so if you're Cleveland you're essentially getting a free roll on IT.
the Crowder, Antic add on's make it worthwhile for Cleveland for their current position but for Boston they have so many pieces they can almost overpay if they truly think Kyrie is a piece they have for the next 8 years

Goes without saying but.....Kyrie and Heyward would be nice little pieces to build on though....if they could get them both signed on long-term.

Cavs to consider voiding Kyrie-IT trade after they had IT in for a physical and evaluating his hip injury.
Man this would be crazy.

Or they are going for another pick... they are already getting a haul.

Almost makes you wonder if they're just trying to rake Boston for more. They already had to have known about the hip, and still made the deal. Unless it was just somehow crazy worse than they thought, it almost feels like a ploy

Looks like Boston will send a 2020 2nd round pick to CLE to complete the big trade, per Woj.

Kevin Durant responds to a YouTube comment asking why he cares what people think: "I play basketball, I got acne, I grew up with nothing, in still figuring myself out in my late 20, I slide in DMs, I make fun of my friends, I drink beer and play Xbox. I'm closer to you than u think"

I'd just like to point out that KD once called Chris Bosh a fake tough guy.
