I am not used to this winning stuff.
Reign and JD didn't give you the secret commish winning notebook? Shame on them

I put a clause in JD's contract that required him to help me continue winning... if he didn't do the same for yours, that's on him.  8-)

I'm sure it's not even close to the "record", but curious about how many times a single player has been traded between the same two franchises. Was looking at SP Mike Reese in this case. He was traded from Boston to Cookeville in November 2031, traded back November 2032. Again traded from Boston to Cookeville November 2034 and while it doesn't count, was closer than Corey realizes to being traded back again this year (complacency!). During all of this, Donny McLittle was traded twice, SP Pedro Galvan twice, 3B Scott Wilson twice, and quite a few other prominent players - SP Pedro Duran, SP Derek Frey, OF Jose Alvarez, 3B Jose Sanchez, SP Paul Bishop, SP Anthony Cash, MR Byund-doo Kim, 2B Bob France, C Jamie Ruiz, SP Michael McMahon, CL Dave Pierce, SP/MR Mike Jenkins.

I know, not really all that interesting but when you're bored at work....

Ehh, looks like Ross Cole has him beat being traded back and forth between you and Niddler.

It's been interesting looking back and seeing how everyone used to make HUGE trades. Wasn't uncommon to see three or four players from each team being thrown in there. Now, well...not so much.

Trading is a little harder to come by nowadays as everyone is a little smarter as the years pass.

I understand what you're saying, but I'm not sure if it's smarter or more suspicious of the other guy

I love when Ted randomly asks me for some 20/20 complete scrub in my international complex that I have never even heard of.

He could offer me a 70 potential dude, and I'd probably still say no.

What does he know!!!

I know a few owners who won't trade me IFAs... even if they don't like them just b/c I want them.

Yeah, there's one or two guys that when they come asking for players my scout has ranked relatively low I know there's something up. Helps build that mistrust with my scout. :)

Orlando Parra is hitting .390 / .450 / .700 in 100+ ABs since arriving in Orange County but is still "very unhappy" with his performance...how the hell long does it take for that status to change
