How much longer can this complete buffoonery continue before he gets impeached? What a complete and total embarrassment for our country.

Well, he hasn't sent a bunch of dudes to die in a sham war...yet. So he has that going for him.

Trump still has that level of absurdity to shoot for before he gets to that level of bad.

if nobody is stopping Trump from doing this stuff, it makes me believe most of this is intentional. either to create diversions for other things happening or because the people who are pulling the strings actually want him to be impeached. these billionaires spend hundreds of millions of $'s to make sure certain things happen, they wouldn't just let a dude go out every day making a fool out of himself. I wouldn't be shocked if the goal was to get Pence in the office but Trump was the more electable guy. certainly a conspiracy theory which I like to stay away from but there is too much for republicans to lose for them to just sit and watch him do stuff like this.

and the mkt is still acting completely fine and volatility (often referred to as a fear gauge) is at record lows and has been since he's been in office. if things were uncertain or bad, that would typically be sky rocketing. until I see volatility up big I tend to believe all this stuff we're seeing is nonsense.

I honestly can't even understand why republicans support his nonsense. I get the rich elite people, just not the majority of the base. It is going to cost them so many seats and a lot of the credibility that they have (it wasn't much to start with)

Who is going to stop him?

Even this has Dave dabbling into conspiracy theories which is a big no no for him. I like this.

from my experience very few things are 'random' at that level of business. you don't get to a position and hold it by acting sporadically. unless its part of your overall gameplan.
thats why i tend to lean on the side that some of this is intentional and then of course i do believe the media plays it to an extreme. if you hear people screaming about how bad something is for enough days you're bound to believe it eventually. but he's also a complete idiot.

Social media is the biggest blessing and curse we may ever see as a human society.

Definitely

I feel like we're forgetting how utterly incompetent we thought George Bush was when we heard him talk.

Probably my all time favorite Bush-ism:

every president. they are humans. humans are flawed. some cover it up thru 'professionalism' a bit more than others.

but we talk about corruption likes its some new thing. there are so many examples that if we covered with the same vitriol we'd be outraged over and over and over. i'm probably butchering this example but Clinton did a speech for uranium industry, then the foundation got a 10 mil dollar donation, then a few weeks later a big uranium bill passed. shit like this happens all the time. we're just now able to see it. its not a republican or democrat thing... its a people thing. people are flawed and easily manipulated thru money or fame or security or a combo of all of them.

again, thats a good thing that we can see this stuff with our own eyes because it exposes stuff and people will demand more truth going forward. which is how growth always happens. truth is why dudes in the NBA shoot more 3's!!!

Or spread more rumors and lies at a historic level and have people without rational ability to think or ask more questions an easy bar to grab on to.

Just offering the other side of that as well.

Gotta find it, but I read(maybe heard on a podcast) that as recently as 2008 ish when the Lakers beat the Celtics in 7 in the Finals, that Phil Jackson had his defense, by design, leave the corner 3 open on rotations because he felt that the miss off the corner 3 led to more transition buckets.
