He's certainly not having the better season, no question as I already said.

But when I was saying it, the numbers certainly backed me up.

your life is on the line, all things being equal, which current QB do you take? (not just based on this year)

Brady. He has the hardware, all the throws, decent mobility, height and, I know you watched the game last night, he is pretty much calling the shots out there just like Payton. And lets not forget hes not playing with a ton of world beaters either out there.

Manning.

No Brady.

No Brees

LOL

That is seriously a ridiculously tough question.

Manning is the most consistent, or has been til the past 3 games, lol.

Up until this season, Brees was the most efficient over the past 2 or so seasons so he was playing better than any of em.

Brady had the injury setback, then was good last year. But this year he is on another level of goodness if you will, lol.

I'm honestly thinking 3 way tie at this point, no bullshit.

If you're gonna make me choose, i think I'm going with Manning, but that is subject to change if you ask me the same question 10 minutes from now, lol.

Or I can just take Matt Cassel since no one even seems to realize he has 19 TDs and 1 INT in his last 9 games.

I know this may be silly but lets never discount the fact either that Brees and Manning play half of their games indoors.

Brady por favor.

Brees was 5-0 against the AFC last year and like 9-2 against the AFC in the past 3 years. ;)

For some that maybe have never played football, and I don't like using that example but I must here, playing indoors would be a dream come true for a QB. The wind fucks everything up when trying to pass the ball.

I'm not disagreeing at all.

But in the last 5 seasons, Brady has had a higher QB rating in 3 out of the 5 seasons in games outdoor, 2 seasons higher rating in games indoors.

ANd it appears like his QB rating would be roughly equal indoors and outdoors, though i ain't about to figure out the actual numbers, lol.

ill say 60% of the league hasn't played organized.

Oh I have no idea. Never really thought about it. I am talking organized football though. I know Shel our resident football expert played Tennis and never played football if my thinking is correct. Doesn't mean I would discount his thoughs when he uses stats to back up his thoughts, I just think having played organized ball could help you in some cases understand things a little better.

Like I think Big Ben on a team like say, the St Louis Rams could possibly be considered a top 5 QB in the league if he got to play indoors and didnt have to play in that nasty division of his.

Brady is great but why do we always hear about how he plays with a bunch of bum wr's but we never mention how he plays with a steel wall wrapped around him.

he literally gets 7-8 seconds to make a decision back there.

great OL >>>> great wrs

How many times just last night did Brady hit a WR after the initial route was broken off? Way more than in a normal game.

Manning usually gets rid of the ball so quickly. Brady and Brees are really good at working around the pocket, but yea, Brady has MUCH better protection and has had over the past however many years than the other 2.

true, but of the "shitty" QBs, how many just have days and days to throw.

this is why successful teams are monsters in the trenches on both sides
